Plus he was very friendly with her which annoyed me. He was almost an hour late for court, and didn't even apologize. Then at the end he gave my case to his associate like he was finished with me. Made me…read moreresponsible for exorbitant fees by holding on to my $400,000 check made out to the Division of Taxation and Inheritance. I still don't know how much extra money I owe because he missed the deadline of filing the taxes by one month and six days. Then upon reviewing the document he had my address incorrect on two separate pages. The first one being the most important. Bot he and his Paralegal Mary Coro talked down to us even though they counted on us to get the date of death values for three bank accounts. She told us the money was released from one bank, but neglected to prepare executor paperwork and sent the release forn without a Notary stamp and blamed it on the bank. She then sent a new form with Notary and had us overnight it. Then she held onto the copy for over a week, neglecting to mail it out. I phoned the branch manager and determined that she was holding onto all the forms that I was emailing. I also requested that she originals uf the short administrator form to my FL attorney so that I can take possession of the Florida property. I requested it a month prior. After a month, sick of waiting, I contacted the Union County Surrogates office and order the forms myself and mailed them to the fl attorney. Mary wrote my nephew the next day and said she sent the forms to the Florida attorney and charged $116.00 per form. This was after she was instructed that I had handled the matter myself. I contacted the fl attorney who confirmed Mary never sent the forms and the Union surrogates court who confirmed that the only party that order the forms was myself. So she lied to hold up the ownership progress of the house and made up a fictitious bill to cost me more money. As stated they were a month and five days late with completing the taxes, have my address wrong in two places on the form and complained that I had the copy for five days to do due diligence on it. Five days before the taxes were due Allen Barkin contacts me and my nephew and says that my taxes are in excess of $400,000 and that he contacted the bank account that had more than that in it and asked them to release the funds but they turned him down. He also told us not to contact the div of Taxation and Inheritance directly. He said it would take five months for him to wriggle the money from the accounts. I went on the division Of Inheritance and taxation website and in direct opposition to what he said, the bank can't refuse you access to the funds as long as they were available in the acct. He just wanted another five months of billing and didn't give a flying merde how much I accrued in interest. Both Allan Barkin and MRy Coro are deceitful, greddy,liars and are unprofessional. Use them at your peril. They Re the lowest of the low.
