We dined with friends, and found the menu to be diverse and found great options. Honestly, we were surprised that there was very little patronage for beautiful weekend. Not really a sportsbar, but not a standard restaurant. We decided on standard fare, burgers, grilled chicken and egg rolls. Food arrived quickly, and was hot. Our kind wait staff was observant, but did not hover. Beverages never got below half full. The TV as blaring pretty loud, so we didn't really stay longer than we needed to. Overall, not bad, but also had hoped we could hang out and just talk to friends. We left earlier than we thought, but a decent lunch, on a beautiful day. Every single time they are out of something, or a waitress says "we never really had that". Or, they make the food wrong. They either ignore requests to remove things or the kitchen doesn't read the ticket and makes it their way. This place is horrible and only gets service because it's on a short list of places to eat in a small town. Go somewhere else. read more

no wait for table, waitress brought our drinks & we asked for a few minutes to look over the menu & she never returned, Boyfriend gave her WAYYY more time than we should have & finally had yo ask another server to take our order. He took our order, she delivered with no apology for ghosting us. Then we wanted the bill & never returned... had to get same other server to pay us out. BF had club sandwich was was "ok" I had wings which were HORRIBLE. Had zero flavor, so bland & incredibly dry. I felt like they'd been thrown in the fryer out of a very old, frozen bag of legs. A nice large variety of bar food and great atmosphere. Fun place to go during a stay at the lake!!

First of all this place has great parking and it is a little more out of Livingston that I'm typically accustomed to going out to, but since it was a new place, we definitely wanted to give it a try. I had the grilled chicken and mashed potatoes with vegetables and I will say this portion was definitely huge. Despite the size of the meal, I did feel like the flavors were very conflicting, you had the tanginess of the lemon pepper, grilled chicken, and then the mashed potatoes seemed like there was more sour cream than needed. And the grilled vegetables could've used a little more grilling. The service was great, but the ambience felt a little off. And that could've been because hardly anybody was there. They did have a lot of TVs and different games playing. If you like sports and beer, this is probably your place to go read more

We just ate at Dugout, on the speaker of their TV there was a man only speaking the Spanish, and it was very loud. This is not an Mexican restaurant . The only customers in Dugout were drinking beer. Our food was good but we had a time fighting off the flies. I would not recommend this restaurant because they're not thinking about their customers who only has a meal there. read more

Food is delicious and I am addicted to the cheese curds. Had a hard day so was craving them and ordered by phone-- got amazing food, on great time. I will say, I was on hold for 10 minutes and when I called back there was not any acknowledgment of the delay and I was hung up on before I could finish speaking. Luckily, I did finish ordering lol. Just would have made my experience there more pleasant if it was more welcoming. The place is nice inside but I mostly go for the cheese curds. Our first time at Dugout. Service was good and attentive. We ordered a heat burger, avocado chicken burger, shrimp Cajun pasta, and traditional garlic Parmesan wings. Besides the wings, the food was good. The wings had no flavor and I wouldn't recommend them. There are approximately 30 TVs but they only showed two different things at once. We requested to watch a specific game and 10 minutes later it was changed. Seems pointless to have so many TVs if you can't watch more than 2 games at a time. This place has a ton of potential but it's nothing I would go out of my way for. read more

Theme is 'sportsball' which is a nonstarter (for us). We've been there twice, on the first visit the food was acceptable but service was nonexistent. Next time we went, ordered chicken wings and got precisely that--bare chicken wings, no flavor, no spice. I thought the food beer were good but they do charge a 4% credit card junk fee so be aware. I just deduct that right off the tip so my base tip of 20 % becomes 16%. Credit card fees have always been a cost of doing business now these joints feel they can tack on a 4% junk fee to bills rather than adding this cost to the menu prices. So no sweat off my back. The server can go to the owner to collect that 4% they ripped off from me. read more

Everything was excellent. Had cajin shrimp pasta, hangover burger with sweet potato fries (best ever), and lemon pepper and garlic wings. Not many places will let you mix flavors on your wings in one order. This place did. All the food was outstanding. Large portions. Oh and I can't forget the pretzel for starters. Tonight we went to the Dugout to eat. Great, no big deal. We are seated. Order drinks. Our poor waiter looks like he's been run off his feet. He takes our order then maybe about 5 mins later comes to say they had to remake my order because they made it wrong. Then crickets... waiter came back a few times to say it shouldn't be much longer. FIFTY MINUTES later I ask for the manager. I walked out. The manager comped my husband his beer and my coke. People who came in 30 and 40 minutes AFTER us were getting their food while we continued to sit there WAITING! Now, 93 cents is not going to break us, but there's a principle involved here! What's our world coming to when we either can't or won't count out change! A slow Monday lunch we shared an appetizer because the prices are ridiculous (over $1 per wing). The pickles were not bad, but the fries, chips, and meat was just a bit above room temperature and at least a day old. No check backs after being served, no refills were offered.
