This probably one of the best bar joints in Livingston. A huge bonus is if you're out of the lake & every one is starving you car pull your boat over and pick up your order! It's lovely during the weeknights but can get a little rowdy as the drinks are flowing but despite that the wet deck is a bar they have excellent burgers! I was working construction in the neighborhood and this was the nearest spot for lunch. Amazing food, both burgers and the spicy chicken sandwhich. Good prices as well for a restaurant, and all staff were honest and friendly. Would come back here again and again if I ever have the chance to work in the neighborhood. read more

kinda layed back didn't eat the food so can't comment on that. the pool tables are not the best but ok for just a relax fun play the negative, they will let you run a tab till the end of the night with a cc on file and then you pay. which always worries me and I was right. I payed that night gave a nice tip this was Saturday night , it came out of my bank on Sunday. The chicken salad is the best I think I have ever eaten. This is mostly a bar environment but the food is very good and worth your time. Love music on the weekends. The wait staff is very attentive and they take great care of each other's tables when needed. read more

People: it's Texas, everybody here is neighbors. You're guaranteed to get a warm welcoming "hello" from the locals. Food: the kitchen and bathrooms are still out of commission. However they donprovidw a food truck and port-a-johns. If you order from the food truck stay away from the hotwings, get a hambergwr instead. Service: the employees seem to enjoy working here. They're smiling and seem to be well liked bybthe clientel. I enjoyed their kindness, HOWEVER, do not expect them to ruch you a drink. Kick back, relqx, and enjoy the atmoshphere. There's is a porta potty Patrons are dressed in construction clothing There's a food truck There Flies all over the place There is a Overall feeling as if OSHA is coming in for site inspection There was a rocking band The server should have worn an orange vest with a construction helmet but she was wearing work boots ! I went there before they closed for remodeling and the burgers were delicious and huge. At the moment they seem to be back open without the kitchen for the moment. But I have heard their steak night that they have now is very good and they have food trucks until they can get the kitchen open. read more

They actually just rebuilt this establishment and you have to see it with your own eyes to understand how remarkable this place is!! The food is like homemade from your momma's house, and the vibe is like a fun laid back atmosphere of good ole people and amazing activities! I saw photos of this place and it looked like a nice place to spend some time this evening. Didn't know it would be ALL evening! I walked out to the deck and sat at a table. A waitress got drinks for the couple at the next table. She didn't even acknowledge me sitting there. I got up and moved to a table closer to the lake. Ordered a margarita and some wings and fries. The drink came out after a while, but seemed to be watered down. I waited and waited for the food. There was a "large" table of 12 people and maybe 6 or 7 other tables (some with only 2 people) outside and about the same number of tables inside. There were only 2 waitresses semi-working the deck area. They would take food and drink orders, but you had to go inside to get the food. This is nothing fancy. Even the large table could have been treated at 2 tables of 6. Burgers, club sandwiches, poboys, wings. Nothing that should have taken so long. Everyone was waiting for over an hour. I almost got up and walked out. The wings finally came out. I was told it was creamy garlic parmesan sauce when I ordered. It came out as a dry rub. The crinkle fries were barely fried. I had to get someone's attention to pay my bill. The kitchen and wait staff need a lot of work and some customer service training. The restroom had no paper towels. Total dive bar with good customer service and large food portions. Beautiful view of the lake. The ladies bathroom door doesn't close as it catches in the wall. No wheelchair access toilet in men's room so a woman asked everyone to vacate the ladies room so a man in a wheelchair could use it. A man using the ladies room was totally fine but the woman asking the women to get out was too much. They seemed to be regulars there. The inside smells like cigarette smoke but their air is oddly not Smokey. Outdoor live music was a nice touch. I'm sure the locals love the vibe but it was just to rough for our taste. We were so hopeful it would be our new meeting place with family traveling from Longview and us traveling from Katy. The food was good. Asked for water without lemon. I got 2 bottles of water and was charged $4.50 for the water. The next visit I said I wanted water In a glass. We got water in Styrofoam cups. The water didn't even taste good. We were charged $4.50 for water which was not bottled water. I spoke to the waitress and was given a refund. I was told by the waitress that's the way they do. We love this place. We go at least once a week when we are in town for either lunch or dinner and we love the live music on Sundays. The Dave's Chicken Salad sandwich is awesome. The tacos are great too. It's right on the water and the view at sunset is amazing. read more

Great service and food. We sat on the patio with our dog and had tasty burgers. Good shade from umbrellas for the afternoon. Someone mentioned portable toilets but I think that might have been when they were building. Bathrooms inside looked open and available. We had a really good time! We came to Lake Livingston from Houston for a girls getaway. The hospitality was great at Wet Deck. The views are absolutely amazing. The owners are really nice and caring.
