Love this place! Never disappoints. They have an ample selection of beers on tap, including widely recognized staples and relatively unknowns. The food is always excellent. The filet mignonettes poutine, while some may is expensive, is well worth the price for the indulgence. Another favourite is the pub chicken sandwich. Also, you can't go wrong with any of the desserts. I also need to call attention to the excellent service (Caroline was especially fantastic!). And they do pub trivia on Wednesday nights, which is always a load of fun! read more

Always nice selection on the weekly menu. Have to yet to try something we didn't like. Nice pub ambiance. We prefer the 1st floor but it's pretty small and fills up fast. The 2nd floor has a more basic ambiance but there are a few televisions to watch sports. Service is always great! read more

Dear fellow yelpers... I attended duke and Devine's for dinner tonight and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. It's my first night in Montreal and after a long plane flight it's the perfect meal for a cold and tired tummy. I shared the French onion soup with my sister and not only was the presentation extremely adoring and cute but it was also plentiful and delicious! I've never had a cheese covered soup before but it was a pleasant first experience and something you wouldn't expect. Our waitress Katia was very friendly and lovely and even gave us a quick card trick. Dinner and a show ;) I definitely recommend this place! read more

This place is a quiet little Pub in a nice residential area. The brisket sandwich was probably a day's worth of calories but man was it good ! Good beer selection and the bar inside is Tiny but very nice. The only problem was that the staff is way too friendly, so I stayed a drink or two longer than I planned. Oh - and it's haunted so make sure you're not in the bathroom when they lock up !! read more

Why not review a place with two D's in their name for my two hundredth review. This will be more of a thank you to their staff, manager and owner for helping us coordinate a group reservation. On the surface this doesn't seem like a big deal, but when I went by to verify if they had a good space for a potential group of 15-20. The space they showed me looked great - it was upstairs and virtually in its own wood trimmed room - very homey. I was sold on it, to use for the get together. So here's the thing, I had mentioned that there was no guarantee of the group size, since we were waiting for a bunch or rsvps and many were from out of town. Unfortunately, in the end the group size was not what we'd hoped. We kept them posted with updates as best we could, and in the end only a few actually could make it. As it turned out there were others heading to the same event being held nearby, that came by. I was glad to hear that, and will try to book another group or come by again to try what looks like a nice pub menu in a cool comfy space. Thanks again for their understanding, but surely the good cheer will come around to help build their reputation as a friendly place to go in the area. read more

Really nice pub menu with lots of beers on tap, surprising given how small the place seems. It's a little dark inside and there are lots of noisy kids on the weekends, but it's a great place to have lunch during the week or to spend an evening. The staff are all helpful and friendly and there's always parking nearby. For those that don't eat meat, don't worry, there are lots of options for us too! read more

Great location on a sunny little corner in Beaurepaire. I have been to the location in Vaudreuil before and liked it, but this newer location is much closer and the new favourite haunt of one of my mates. Bar menu is relatively complete. Although when I showed last time they were out of the wine bottle we order. This is fine. The mark up on a bottle is normal. Beer is great. Good temperatures. The only food I tried at this location were the pots tickers, I enjoyed them. The Guinness stew and the fish and chips are to be tried. ..had them at the original location and they were great. Only complaints..every time I am there there is new staff..the young lovely girl had to ask her coworkers about wine and my friend ordered a bottled beer that she was told would take 20 minutes because they were just then about to put it on ice Go for the patio and ambiance. Went there a couple of months ago. The food was ok but the place was not great. For starter it's way too small. I was seated with a column at my back and was not comfortable. Add to that really loud people on a table getting drunk while their kids are on the next table. Plus it was really hot. The fish and chip I had was ok but no more. Considering that the black lion is at couple of doors down, that food is a little bit better, the service is more friendly and the environment is A LOT better. read more

Drinks were great, food was awesome and our server couldn't have been sweeter. I loved the kilts they wear, very nice touch! TLDR: Cosy pub, great beer, and tempting food. I visited Dukes and Devines on a date and it was a great choice. The servers were smiley and friendly (and sporting green kilts), and there was a roaring fire keeping the place warm. The draft beer selection was diverse, and I was thrilled to see St. Ambroise Noire on the list. Their menu and the smells from the kitchen were tempting, so I may have to go again for their food. I'm am writing this while sitting on the patio of D&D. This is my second time here and it's now officially a GO TO. The K-pop Burger with a poutine side is a solid pick and should be followed up with a fried Mars bar . Jimmy, our server was friendly, helpful with selections and on the spot with service. We are so lucky to live just up the street from Dukes! The owners are great and a big part of the local community. I think COVID's been pretty tough for them, but we still order food baskets and a weekend meal from them (which are delicious!). The fish&chips are awesome as are all the poutines and the fish and tacos. Can't wait to be able to eat inside again as the atmosphere there is great as is the friendly staff. We'll be out on the terrasse next summer for sure! read more

A gang of 10 hungry folks showed up here on Saturday, and let me tell you, Duke & Devine's can give lessons on service, food and atmosphere. Especially in this new "covid 19" era. ALL PROTOCOLS WERE VERY WELL RESPECTED. Food was EXCELLENT! Service was PERFECT! And atmosphere was DELIGHTFUL. We felt right at home and SAFE, above all!!!!! Other restaurant owners should sit here for a night and take notes on how to go about things in this covid era. HATS OFF TO DUKE AND DEVINE'S FOR A JOB WELL DONE. I enjoyed this pub very much!! Great terrace in the front very big and spaced out nicely!! Owner very friendly and social. He asked us how we were doing like 4 times and socializing with us! Service was perfect and so was are food!! My friens lovea their Indian poutine!!! A must try very very good!!!! I had a nice blonde beer recommended by the waiter. An overall success! Nice find near where we were staying. Very good food, friendly atmosphere. Very courteous staff, nice terrace. Will return when in the area. Roast beef sandwich was very good but au jus was just too salty. Lobster, shrimp and crab roll on daily menu was very nice, fresh and tasty. read more

I had gone to Dukes& Devine's last week with a group of friends, what a great evening. The food was fantastic! definitely beyond expectations! I had their Grilled Salmon on a bed of mashed potatoes with grilled vegetables; A delightful blend of spices cook to perfection. The last time I was there I had the Filet Mignon Poutine, wow!!! which was hands down the best poutine I ever had. The staff and owners are just so serviceable. They really care what you think and are truly passionate about what they do. read more
