My old coworker and I meet him here for lunch at Bunker's. It's a nice cafe, an ok variety of food. It's not the greatest variety and they don't serve salads that I could see. Our go to is the burger for my boss and my coworker and I get the club sandwich. I like it for the bacon. It comes with fries or a bag of chips. I got the bag of chips so I could take them home to my husband. Though the fries looked really good, but I know I didn't need them so I got the chips. Parking- They have a private parking lot so there is plenty of parking and lots of parking in the shade. The parking lot has lots of shade structures which is great for parking in the Bathrooms- They have then in the entry way between the pro shop and Bunker's. The women's room looked clean but, it smelled horrible. Food- They have a club Sandwich $15, Avocado Wrap $16, Burger, grilled hotdogs, and a few other things. The menu the slimmed down since the picture was taken several years again that is featured on Yelp. I'm sorry I didn't get an updated picture. Everting is reusable priced. And my husband would be so pleased as they have grilled hotdogs. The kind with the grill marks on it. Location- Around 30 minutes from Sacramento. Past Ikeada. Down the road around 15 minutes. View from Bunker's- If you're sitting outside you have a great view of the driving range. You can also sit inside Bunker's

I did some warm up shots and then I was the official putter. Thank God he understands heheh. In my defense I have played courses with him before 18 holes is just a lot. But that's teamwork and we making the dream work!! So back to this place, it's pretty cool. There is one big room with a. Door and looks like a little more private experience and then there are two side by side bays around the corner. You can many many course from around the world or some original Courses. There are also some games. We didn't play those this time but maybe next time. He says the booking is pretty easy you do it online and then they send you a code to get in. The only thing missing is a water station. If the owner sees this please consider a water station with still and bubbly water. Hehe. Some splashes of fruit would be nice too!! Last but not least maybe some instrumental background music. Not too loud but just enough to catch it here and there. Oh. Wait one more thing. I saw two groups bring the kiddos. It's a great place to teach your little ones. As I don't know many golf courses that allow the kids??

The owner, Charles, is super nice and is very helpful. I booked a free trial and knew right then and there that this was the place for me. So far, the feedback from the TrackMan technology is proving its worth and quality with insanely accurate stats, video swing playback, video club impact, and more detailed information. I love my unlimited hours privilege and I look forward to coming often.

The whole vibe was warm and welcoming it honestly felt like we were hosting at home, but better. Highly recommend for events or even just a fun night out. We'll definitely be back!

There is no buffer time between reservations, which allows the business to run and honor the whole reservation time. Be respectful patrons! $60 for 1 Hour reservation UPDATED review with accurate timestamps provided by owner. We had a one-hour reservation scheduled for 8:00 PM and arrived on time. Unfortunately, the previous group did not vacate the bay until around 8:10 PM, and we did not get into the bay until 8:12 PM. We were then also set up and the group got drinks. Despite this delay, we were told during setup that we would still need to leave promptly at 9:00 PM due to another reservation. While we complied, it was frustrating to be rushed out when our reservation had already been cut short through no fault of our own. We were shortly told afterwards that the reservation afterwards would not be showing up and that we could stay the extra 10 minutes that was delayed at the beginning of our reservation. We accepted, but this was not the experience raced about by many others in the community. This experience wasn't about the money, but about fairness and professionalism. Reservations should be honored for their full duration, and customers shouldn't lose paid time due to scheduling issues. Given this experience, I'm hesitant to return. The owner demonstrated exceptional understanding and attentiveness, diligently listening to both parties involved and providing me with the precise information pertaining to our reservation. Although our party's experience was not entirely satisfactory, it is important to recognize that this is a small business located in Elk Grove, and it deserves an opportunity to thrive within the community.

You can get a better rate if you do a bigger package. Who is Patrick best for? In my opinion, Patrick will give the best bang for buck for someone who already has a gameable swing (scoring in the 80s to 100s), has decent body awareness, and is looking for an instructor who will notice the small details that are costing a player 5-10 strokes a round. Read the reviews already here and most of them are from people who have already been playing for some time. After a single lesson, I can already tell Patrick's attention to detail is superb. The day after my lesson (I generally have wavered between a high single digit and low double digit index), I shot +3 through 11 from the back tees. Getting to a 5 index this year seems realistic now. If you're completely new to golf, you can find cheaper instructors who will give you a basic understanding of the swing. They will generally all tell you the same thing, and it will likely take you some time to get your body used to the golf swing. Once you feel like you can make contact on 8/10 balls at the range on a consistent basis, or are scoring in about the 110s, then come in to Patrick to really mold your swing. For the love of God though, do not try to coach yourself through YouTube.

I've had awkward lessons in the past from other coaches who it was just a bad pairing. But my work with Patrick has been encouraging, helpful, clear and understandable, and repeatable. For a full understanding, I've been playing off and on for 30 years. Been as low as an 11 index, but had laid off the game entirely for about 10 years. Getting back into the game in my early 60's means I have rust and physical limitations I didn't used to have. Patrick has been great at identifying the fundamental gaps I'd been playing with for, well, decades. Then showing me what needs to be changed, and providing repeatable exercises that I can put into practice to slowly build new habits. Another thing - like a lot of us, my head can be full of all sorts of swing thoughts and YouTube advice LOL Patrick has been great at encouraging me to clear the mind of all the confusing, contradictory swirl in my head and swing free. And to play golf, not play golf swing. Bottom line - yes, I've gained distance, consistency. I sort of figured any coach will be able to have positive results if I'm willing to incorporate what they teach. But what has been great is getting clear bite-sized chunks that is making the game more simple and enjoyable. My recommendation is consider Patrick as a good option as you begin to choose who you want to improve your game with.

Ian is the real deal - he fits his teaching perfectly between technical analysis and feel. I have went from shooting ~130 per round to getting my first handicap at 30.5 to getting my current handicap to 18.7 to signing up for my first tournament in 14 months. I have taken 9 lessons over these 13 months and he has built my swing from nothing to where it is today. I know that my velocity of improvement has everything to do with his teaching. Ian has a sharp eye for mechanics and breaks everything down in a way that actually sticks -- starting from the ground up with grip, then building into swing path, ball position, and tempo. He gives you a clear roadmap and builds on it lesson by lesson. I practice a few times a week and take monthly lessons with him, and every session I walk away with something concrete to work on. What sets Ian apart is that he's not just technically excellent -- he's also a great communicator who's genuinely invested in his students' progress. You can tell he loves what he does. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced golfer looking to sharpen your game, I can't recommend Ian enough. He's the real deal.
