The owner of the shop was the one to great us upon arrival and they gave us a tour of the interior and the small farm adjoining the shop. Before this shop I thought I hated lavender, I was dead wrong. The smell was herbal and floral- sweet not overwhelming. The selection of goods featured many items harvested fresh from the garden or hand dried. Even though it was a specialized ship the prices felt comfortable, with a lot of items available for under 20 dollars. The owners shear enthusiasm for their work made me happy and comfortable to be a patron.

This adorable little shop has everything lavender you can think of: neck pillows, essential oils, satchels, even sugar cookies and soda! Who could ask for more? The shop owner is so, so friendly and will answer any questions that you may have. My favorite thing to buy here is the Lavendin essential oil. It is the most potent and relaxing smelling (sorry about all the infinitive use lol) oil that I've purchased anywhere. The owner said the lavendin oil is stronger smelling than the lavender oil. In addition to the lavender goods, this cottage also sells clothes, the cutest baby things, and jewelry. And there are chickens in the garden area so don't forget to go say hi to them. There's something that unique in every corner each Booth is owned by a different person. So you're going to find all kinds of cool stuff I actually found a really nice necklace. There's a lot to see in here so take your time. Lots of free parking in the front of the building. We didn't make it across the street but I heard it's cool over there too you can buy lots of packages to make bread and cornbread and other baked goods.

This three-story building is loaded with a little bit of everything and has something for everyone. Nancy found a unique vintage choker-style necklace for about $30 and I found two piano books, one for $5 and the other for $8.95. In my opinion many of the items here are overpriced but there are deals to be had; just not for what I was shopping for. The sellers would not give me a better deal on the books even though I'm probably the only one in the great state of GA that wanted them. I was actually trying to purchase a third book Beethoven Sonatas Book II, but they wanted nearly $30 for it. I could care less that it was old (vintage), I just wanted the material for study. I can buy the Henle version of this book (best quality of music book made) for the same price this Black Friday, so that was a solid NO for that purchase. Staff were friendly and the store was kept orderly. Items were displayed in a logical manner and I did not have to do a lot of digging to find what I was looking for. There are multiple sellers in the store so you might find something such as sports related items in more than one place so be sure to walk all three floors if you have time. We were in a bit of a hurry so we only had about 30 minutes to shop on this visit. I could have easily looked around for another 30 minutes or more. If you are looking for a fun shopping experience while visiting Helen, GA I recommend stopping in and checking them out.

It has two floors and this is a great place to shop for gifts for friends and family if you are visiting. There are also quite a few leather goods in the form of purses, wallets, and backpacks. I ended up purchasing a queen quilt that came with shams, as well as a sofa quilt and they are both gorgeous. My friends were interested in some of the natural stone jewelry regarding turquoise and there were many options ranging from $10-200! The employees here are very helpful and friendly. Definitely stop by this place as there are cool things for the home as well! Pillows and throws and kitchen materials are also in abundance here.

Recently I was back in the area so I wanted to see if the store was still around. The store itself is not very big, but there is a lot of inventory in there. You can get a basic quilt for $100, but some can be over $250. The more detailed and type of quilt determine the pricing. I really liked the quilts, but really didn't have one this time that I needed. I live in Florida, so not many nights I need a quilt. But I did really like them. They have an online store where you can order them and have them shipped which is probably what I'll do this year for some family members up north. These handmade quilts are perfect as a gift or even for yourself.
