I suffer from migraines which always start as severe neck pain. I recently had a 2+ week migraine that would not go away with medicine, massage, or anything I tried. Dr. Thomas is a lifesaver! I came to him with a severe neck spasm, that bothered me for 2 months, and I got the neck rotation back after 1 session. After 3 sessions I no longer need to take pain meds to go to sleep. He takes insurance, but even without insurance he charges incredibly reasonable rates. He's gentle, he's attentive, and he's just a kind amazing human being. Also if he says that your appointment is st 8, he'll see you at 8. The clinic is open from 8-6, they do take lunch from 1-3 pm. Wow these guys saved me. It's not a beautiful high end office but I don't care about that because they are amazing! I had a pinched nerve in October and after a visit to West hills ER, I was given medications which provided zero relief. An emergency room nurse happened to mention to me that seeking a chiropractor for preventive care in the future is a smart option. So after a few days of continued pain, I googled local chiropractors a chose this one due to reviews and location. Wow, the first massage and adjustment was the first time I got a good nights sleep in a week. I still had pain but it lessened with each visit. Dr. Thomas is a saint... Actually that's an understatement. It's like Jesus Christ resurrected, went to college and became a chiropractor, and then changed his name to Dr. Thomas....... Yeah, that's more like it. I hurt my back a little more than a week ago. As days past, my back started to hurt more and more. Hell, I could hardly even walk. So, this past Thursday, I called my insurance and had them refer me to a chiropractor around the area where I work so I could go right after. They gave me two referrals that was the closes. The first chiropractor I called, he said he closed at 6:00PM and couldn't wait around. I get off work at 6:00pm. So therefore, I tried the second referral, which was Dr.Thomas of Dumetz Chiropractic. I told him I wouldn't get off work until 6PM, he said he closes at 6PM but would wait around for me. "Don't worry about it. Take your time, I'll be here", was his exact words. This was my first visit to Dr.Thomas. I walked in his office, in pain and could hardly even move. 40 minutes later, I left with no more pain and had full range of my legs, no more limping! I went back just last night for my follow up. The pain was gone but I still felt stiffness on my lower back. But after he was done readjusting me, I was 100%. I felt incredible! Honestly, I am surprised on how much he helped me with only a few visits. Dr.Thomas is a saint! I've been to chiropractors in the past but I have never had the type of quality treatment until I was treated by Dr.Thomas. Dr. Thomas even told me, he treats people so well that it's bad for business because he never sees them again. hahaha. He is so nice and full of humor, you will just love the guy. I HIGHLY recommend for everyone to visit Dr.Thomas if you have any problems. Hell, even if you don't, just to get an adjustment. We all neglect to get maintenance until a problem occurs... This place was heaven on earth until Dr. Thomas decided he is going on vacation. He plans to replace himself temporarily with another chiropractor. Since then, I have gone in 2 times and I will not return after my experience today. The first time I went in with the new chiro, she was really nice and adjusted me well but when I left, the front desk became very, very pushy alongside the new chiro in booking a tentative appointment. I explained that my schedule changes a lot and I would rather call the day of or before to make an appointment rather than having to schedule at that moment. The second time I came in, they told me to pay my co pay prior to adjustment as well as book another appointment - the minute I walked in the door. Today, the receptionist called my house to tell me that I haven't been in the office for a week and I need to get in there to book something. First of all, you're calling my house and telling me I need to book something without asking me if I even need an adjustment nor the reason why I haven't been in. I have had tattoo work done to my back and I cannot have any pressure or anything applied to my back until it heals. The receptionist had an attitude with me as if I did something wrong. A sales call and pushing appointments on me is not for me. For these reasons, I will not return to this office - it's too bad because I really liked Dr. Thomas. read more

My husband went to Dr Thomas when he hurt his back last year. He loved him. My sister came into town from New York and wanted to try him out bc my husband told her about him and she loved him. She is extremely picky and hard to please. Trust me! So my neck started to hurt one day I was extremely nervous (never been to a chiropractor) and told Dr. Thomas I was a chicken. I didn't like hearing my neck sound like a crinkling door so I came to him. He was very gentle and explained everything to me. I went to him a few times. Now Just recently, I got hit while stopped at an exit ramp waiting for the light to turn green . The guy plowed right into me. No hesitation, I went to Dr. Thomas. They fit me in that day. The staff has been super helpful and friendly. Not fun being hit. First the Dr comes in to discuss what happened and listened to where I was hurting. Then you get a massage to relax. ATTN PEOPLE READING BAD REVIEWS FROM 2013!! I'm a cusomer whom visited Dr. Thomas in Spring of 2012 and I could not stand straight when I walked into his office. I was FULLY hunched over. After my first visit I was standing straight and after the 3rd I was perfect! I just saw him today, my second visit for a new, less intense problem. The staff was great, he was great and everything was great. I, like you, was concerned about the reviews from 2013 and thought the office may have lost what it had. He had a problem then with some employees and he has fully resolved it. Lucky for me, I never had to deal with the B.S. from 2013. Dr. Thomas is a modern day healer. I have know him professionally for 17 years and seen him on and off during that time depending on my needs. I initially started going to Dr. Thomas when I was 16 after a car accident left me with migraine headaches and neck pain, which he soon alleviated. After my positive experience I recommended him to both my father and my great-aunt. He treated the swelling and stiffness in my father's ankle from a former break. What was miraculous was his healing of my great-aunt, who was then in her 70's with nothing positive to say about doctors and only complaints about a knee that prevented her from walking very far. Even my grumpy, stubborn aunt had endless compliments about Dr.Thomas. She is not an easy woman to please, especially when she is in pain. Dr. Thomas' prices are very reasonable and scheduling is convenient. He usually brings me in right away for my session and I have never waited over 10 minutes. He recently added two massage therapists who are fabulous additions. Over the years Dr. Thomas has treated friends and co-workers and has made our lives more comfortable to live. Car accidents and injuries can leave permanent damage that is inflamed by the stress and excessive sitting in many people's lives. Most of the times that I get an adjustment from Dr. Thomas, I get the most awesome natural high. He is the most knowledgable Chiropractor I've ever met, and I've been to at least 8 others in my life. I have chronic migraines, but with Dr. Thomas' adjustments and care I don't suffer with them as often. My Son has back and neck issues and lives in another State, and still insists that Dr. Thomas is the only Chiropractor that can give him any relief.
