They have sent me and my contractor emails about ongoing daily fees. The full dumpster was sitting by my curbside for days, and I had to call several times before getting them to send someone. Each time I called, I was provided different information. Ultimate Dumpster in valley Stream New York, Rather Ultimate Crooks are a better name.. They are a 3rd party dumpster company, after they charge your card for the initial dumpster. They will charge your card for a dollar a few times to make sure they still have access to the card. Then when you return the dumpster they will email you an invoice saying your over ex amount of tons which is 125.00 per ton. They scam you because they immediately charge your card and tell you they the place they dump your garbage has cameras, but when you call that company they refer you back to ultimate dumpster. I clean out an apartment and they said my dumpster was 6 tons, 2 dresses and and garbage bags..Impossible.. Do not use them you will regret it and pay a hefty price. read more

Where do I start. Their sales man jack was great however I talked and ordered my dumpster on A Monday for a Friday delivery and I was suppose to be first delivered in the am on Friday and the dumpster did not get here until 8pm Friday night and since this is a DIY project that threw one day out of my days off. When I called their customer service line to inquire as to where my dumpster was the first time they said "let me call the driver" and after being on hold for 5 minutes I was told it will be their in 30 to 45 minutes, 2 hours later I called back and was told "let me call the driver" AGAIN and was told the drivers truck broke down and it would be another 30 to 45 minutes 2 hours later I called back and was told "we can only go by what the driver is telling us" and hung up on me. My boyfriend called and spoke tinge same woman with an Indian accent and she said that it was on its way and I was scheduled for an afternoon drop off not morning (but I have an app on my phone that records phone calls and i was told specifically I would have it by 7am no later than 9am. The driver who is a local company (who I should have called to begin with,)showed up and he stated that he wasn't called until Friday morning and wasn't told a time to deliver my dumpster and that his truck didn't break down and he never received a call from the company on my delivery day (so every time I was on hold WHO were they speaking to?) stated I called and spoke to Jack who gave me 10 days instead of 7 but this didn't help much since my work schedule confined me to only certain days that week and all the help I had was here Friday with no dumpster. I have called back to speak to Jack numerous times since and either no answer or his mailbox is full and trying to get help from customer service was nearly impossible. That being said every time I called to get hold of jack WITH NO SUCCESS, today on pick up day the miraculously called to schedule a pick up of the dumpster. They gave me the best quote, by far, but didn't explain all of the hidden fees, and overage charges. DO NOT ORDER A DUMPSTER FROM THESE PEOPLE. Pete was nice enough when I ordered the dumpster. Ordered dumpster and was told it would come end of day on Friday or Saturday morning. Was told I would get a confirmation email. Saturday comes and there is no dumpster - try calling, they are closed on weekend. Checked my email confirmation and it was a contract that I had to sign and send back before dumpster would be delivered. Although, money was out of my account the same day as ordered. When I started calling Monday morning talked with Maria. She said let me transfer you....sure to an extentsion that is not working. This was the tone for the next 48 minutes. Being hung up on, transfered to lines that did not exist, telling me billing office would call, which they never did. She then transported me to the dispatcher, who could not have been ruder. Told him I was out 100.00 for the two gentlemen who showed up to doad my dumpster. He said he doesn't do refunds, was not going to lose any money and that he would not refund my money. I WAS TOLD TO CALL MY BANK AND HAVE THEM DEAL WITH IT. I was then hung up on. When I called back, once again some guy with a very heavy NY accent, hung up on me again. By the way, he would not tell me his name. I then went to the bank to file a complaint. Had to cut up my card and wait 7-10 days for a new one to be issued. Later that afternoon Pete calls me, tell him he never told me the email confirmation was a contract, he said they were refunding my money. He said nothing more......scammers, scammers, scammers. Please do not rent from these people! I rented a dumpster and the completely overcharged me and said I was overweight and when I asked for an over weight receipt it took the two weeks to send one with no reference number or way of me knowing it was from my dumpster! The customer service girl Veronica cursed me out over the phone and called me stupid because I questioned them. She continued to tell me that if I didn't sign some online document that they supposedly emailed me that she wouldn't pickup the dumpster and would put a lean on my property or house lol! (I know how stupid). I had to call the company who owned the dumpster AAA to complain and get them to pickup the dumpster and they where awesome and extremely helpful! My advise to everyone is to just go direct and not through dumpster rental you will save money In the long run. Customer Service is awful. First they brought us the wrong dumpster. Then when they brought us the right one, they took it before we could finish using it for the full 2 weeks we paid for. Ok. Mistakes happen. But trying to correct it was a nightmare. They keep you on the phone for hours before finally disconnecting you. They promise callbacks and never call you back. This place is a scam. I rented a dumpster and was told it should arrive Friday morning. I took off from work to start my remodeling project and quickly had a whole pile of junk ready to go. The afternoon came and they hadn't arrived. I called and was told they would be here in three hours. At 5pm I called again and was told they would be here sometime next week. Simple story, quoted me one flat charge (which turned out to be $100 higher than local market), then unilaterally increased it when they sent me the invoice. I immediately cancelled, was contacted by their sales force to try and pressure me to keep the service, finally agreed to cancel the service and promised me a refund/reversal of charges. Unsurprisingly, no refund or reversal was forthcoming. I had to notify my credit card company of the dispute and let them handle it. I would never use them and will warn others not to. read more

Called a couple more times but no way to leave a message. Called again a week later and the person, Nicole Ross, answering the phone was so rude. She talked over me the entire conversation not listening to the fact that I had already called and made arrangements for the dumpster to be picked up but no one had come, contacted me or made a note of the call. MISERABLE transaction from day 1! I'm a realtor and I had a client that lives in Mississippi and wanted his property in Las Vegas to be evacuated (tenants were occupying and left a ton of junk) so we could get the house on the market to sell. My husband, Gary, called to get a dumpster ASAP. They said they could have the dumpster to us by 12 pm the following day. We didn't get it until 6 pm!! (as a realtor, 6 hours is precious business time lost). So when it came time to pick up the dumpster (Friday/Saturday), I had to leave to NY for 11 days so I called, left a voice mail AND emailed them to have the dumpster picked up ASAP before the general public started dumping their trash into it (they didn't provide or offer us with a cover to prevent this). NO RESPONSE. The dumpster was picked up on Tuesday. In the meantime, someone dumped literally a WHOLE kitchen into the dumpster. A few days go by after the dumpster had been picked up and we get a charge to the credit card for $350 more for an "over tonnage fee". They claim we were over by 3.5 TONS! Are you KIDDING ME?! There's absolutely no possible way with the stuff we junked that it weighed over 2 tons. So when we called to ask if there's anything they can do to help us out bc it just seems unfair since the weight is from someone elses trash, their response is "you're responsible for the dumpster." If we would have known we were going to have to deal with this we would have just waited for Republic Services. I'm always looking for good companies to refer to my clients and this company is now on my black list. As a business owner myself, customer satisfaction ALWAYS comes first. read more

Where do I begin? I ordered a dumpster from this company for a job site. When I ordered it, I was assured that I would be able to receive a Recycle Ticket, because everything was recyclable and we would get a rebate. After over a month of phone calls to this company, I got nowhere. I was told someone would look into it, or, we're waiting to hear back from the landfill. Today, I talked to someone, not sure of his title, and he basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about. That the items were dumped in the general landfill and that I did not request that they recycle. This is not true. I would not have ordered the dumpster if they did not recycle! He went on to say he would email me the weight ticket and I could contact the landfill and see what they could do about it. Really? That's my job? This was the worst experience I have ever had! I work for a non-profit putting on a walk event. The dumpster never arrived. We called and got no answer from dispatch. They never called us and are now claiming they attempted delivery. They didn't we were there and even after we left were 5 minutes away and would have returned if they had called us with an issue. They are now trying to charge us more for what they call a drive by. Our volunteers at the event had to haul garbage home for pick up. When we called they yelled at my colleagues were dismissive, rude and took absolutely no responsibilty! WATCH OUT working with there crooks! read more

Worst company that i have ever associated myself in my entire life. I received a different estimate than was discussed by phone. I canceled the order as soon as i got the invoice due to the fact that it's not what we had spoken about. Although i didn't sign the bill they took my money and don't want to return it. They weren't picking up my phone calls nor returning my calls after i left voicemails. Finally they wrote back to my email and called me saying they will return a very small portion of my money ($140 out of $390). They denied everything and wanted me to prove that i canceled the order. After telling me they could and would have me a dumpster on Saturday morning they were a no show. I had to send 4 of my friends home at 1:00 pm because of not showing up. I called and canceled the delivery and got them to back the charges off my credit card. Had to argue with them a ridiculous amount of time to get them to do that as they were trying to force me to take the dumpster on Monday because they said they couldn't get anyone to deliver on Saturday. Charged me $608.40 for a 30 yd. container. Got one local for $325.00. What rip offs. They were the rudest people I have ever delt with.
