He started early installing the lights and mentioned some ideas on hiding the power brick in the attic and running the power wires out the soffit. It was a great idea. Josh is a very motivated young man who takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work. He ran into several obstacles installing the lights on peaks and roof jumps and was totally open to alternative wiring runs to make the install look cleaner. Josh is a perfectionist, which is refreshing for a person of his age. Josh worked about 10 hours installing our lights and making sure the installation met our expectations. I can tell you that his professionalism and work ethic exceeded our expectations. He wouldn't leave until we made sure we were happy with the install. I would highly recommend Josh (JPA) for any work that you may need completed. His price is more than fair and I've already recommended him to a couple of our neighbors.

I met with Todd to go through the design and I was very clear on what I wanted - I asked for as many flowering pink plants as possible, a weed barrier underneath all the planting beds, stones on the side of the house, and a clear path on the all sides of the patio so that my dog can easily access the yard. When I received the initial design NONE of what we discussed was included. He redid the plans and they still weren't what was discussed. I had to remind him FOUR TIMES of my plans. Todd didn't prepare any of the soil so that the plants would thrive in the clay soil, so all of the trees and a large portion of the shrubs that were planted have died. The pink hydrangea that I specifically requested has bloomed white. When it was planted and it wasn't blooming, he said if it turns out to be anything other than pink, that he would come back and replant it. Only after I called to let him know it was white, he let me know that you physically cannot plant pink hydrangeas in that location because of the full sun exposure. When I called to tell him that there were weeds covering the front bed and to confirm that they did put a weed barrier down. He told me that they never put weed barriers under shrubs even though we had discussed it three separate times. The entire process was beyond frustrating. I have absolutely wasted my time, thousands of dollars, and the dream of my garden that he promised me when I hired him.

Our house has a huge deck that was built around a gigantic, old silver maple tree. The tree was…read moreroughly 80 to 90 feet tall and it was estimated to be close to 100 years old. The tree was in a sad state and we were fearful that one of the large limbs would break in high winds resulting in a tremendous amount of damage to our house. We consulted with three arborists, and they all agreed the tree should be removed, but only one of them had a crane large enough to do the job and that was Nick's tree service. This was not an inexpensive project. It was just under $11k. But I cannot speak highly enough of the speed and quality of work that Nick's tree service provided. It took them less than three hours to completely remove this tree. And after they had cut, chipped, swept, and left. You would've never known they were even here, except of course, for the huge hole in our deck where the tree used to be. The entire crew was very professional efficient and got the job done in record time. It was money well spent.
