We spent…read moresome time trying to find the perfect spot that included water, medium hike, and close enough to the city to avoid adding another two hours to our trip back home to FL. This state park was a great find and only a 30 min drive from mid town. They had different trails for different levels of hiking. Our trail ran alongside the creek and we got to dip our legs in the water while others were swimming and tanning. If we weren't so tired we would have made a whole day of it!
