We made it abundantly clear that if the city of Englewood did not pay the entire bill, then don't start the scope of work. We were assured that there would be no out-of-pocket expense several times from this company. They ended up invoicing us for $475, which we grudgingly paid. We thought that the dealings we had with Edd Rike was over, when we got a phone call for another bill for $4000. Threats were made to put a lien on our home, even though it was not our bill to pay. Further inspection, the city of Englewood stated that they had mailed the payment sometime ago and I should not be liable for it. What kind of company receives payment and then turns around and tries to bill you with threats of putting liens on your home? Like I said run don't walk...
