FOLLOWING AMANDA K's comment on behalf of Logan Services, I note that the heat pump is under warranty from Amana and Logan Services has failed to honor its commitment to service the heat pump including a full day of promises of phone calls without any service whatsoever being provided. If there was a lower rating than 1 I would give Logan Services a lower than 1 rating. I'd avoid this entity above all.

What sets him apart from other technichans is that he'll try to see what's wrong and fix it. Vs. recommending you buy a whole new system. Our furnace was broken, and he tried to fix it first by seeing if the issue was with the capacitor. When that didn't work he found out it was the motor. Instead of getting a new motor for our system, which was pretty expensive, he instead suggested we replace the furnace. Only because the cost of a new one was a little bit more than the cost of an motor. Also, the furnace was almost 20 years old. Every time he's come over, he was exactly on time. He is super punctual and always cordial/professional. I would not hesitate to use R3 Electrical and HVAC again. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

While I was at work the technician convinced my Mother that a 24 dollar part replacement would cost 450$ and on top of that charged a diagnostic fee and service call fee. I called for explanation and to complain. I was told they pretty much just talk whoever it is they are taking advantage of into this outrageous price. Though my mom thought he quoted her 40 something dollars for the part. On top of that it took him 1hour and 20 mins or so to replace the part with a generic ignitor which required 2 little screws and 2 wire nuts to replace. The owner pretends to be caring but they only care about their bottom line. Don't use this company unless you like getting ripped off. He tried to justify it by saying since his techs carry the part on hand even though it's a 15 dollar knock off that doesn't even bolt down correctly. Funny thing, customer service and Gm refused to settle for a 200 dollar refund and so I asked for them to come and remove the part and refund my money to which the Gm said that's gonna cost them more money to do that! Are you kidding??? And then has The owner of this God Forsaken business to call me to tell me that he would have just refunded me all the money and I keep the repair.. lol but instead pretended that I shouldn't have been upset in the first place so therefore he wasn't gonna do the right thing. They've been routinely unreliable, setting up dates to come out for install and then not showing up or communicating. Do not use them if you have any other option.
