The office is located right off the highway (with the added bonus of free parking right in front). Also, their on-line appointment request form is very easy to use. Basically if your too young or too old you are not entitled to basic health care and eye exam. This should not be allowed or acceptable by any physician and should be disallowed by the College of Optometrists of Ontario. You refuse to treat a patient you should lose your licence to practice!

As challenging as it was to make adjustments due to the style of the glasses, he was able to figure out a solution. I was so ecstatic!!! Not only did he amend the alignment of the temple arms so I could now wear my glasses, he did so expecting NO COMPENSATION! I was so eternally grateful, I persisted to INSIST he accept my offer of payment. Afterward, he gave me a lovely token (glasses care products). I'm am in AWE of his kindness and professionalism! I dropped it off and was told that they would try their best to get it done by the next day. When I called the next day, to my horror and not their fault they said that the work was not done because their courier did not pick up my glasses due to the big snow storm we had the previous day. Clarence the owner assured me that he would drive up to Richmond Hill ( where the lab was) and get it done and drop it off to my house that night. And he did at 10pm, 6 hours before my flight! The fact that he went above and beyond my expectations totally blew me away! I offered to pay extra for his gas etc and he vehemently declined.... This is 5 star service in my books!!

The service provided by Gunjan aka Melody was friendly, attentive and professional. I've been on the search for the perfect pair of eye glasses. I visited many of showrooms but can't seem to find 'the one'. I saw a hue of blue and placed them firmly on. It felt great and looked great too! The salesperson came over and she understood what I was looking for. They had many trendy, bold and fancy styles for me to try on. One after another. They price seems reasonable for the one pair I asked about! I didn't purchase anything. She was kind enough to write the names down for me. I left in hurry to meet a friend at earls. A few minutes later I saw the salesperson. I waved and she came over. I had left my keys behind and she searched the entire corner of the mall looking for me. I came in for vision test about 2 weeks ago and I ordered the frames I fell in love with a month back! I've been excited to finally get them, and I was told by the staff here that they'd arrive in the next week. Sunday (it has been a week at that point) I called them to get an update, and the woman I spoke to said they'd be in the following day. Perfect. I waited an additional day just to be sure, and when I went into the store they couldn't find my frames? I told the staff I have errands to run in the mall, and told them I'd be back, hoping by that point they've found them. I got a phone call from the staff at the store saying that it appears as though the lab shipped and then took back my order and if there was something wrong with it. She said they have to redo everything from scratch. I asked her how long it would take and she said about another week because they have to start over. I completely understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication, the fact that I had to reach out to get an update, and the fact that I have to wait an additional week now - as a result of a lack of communication from the lab or the store or whomever, is pretty frustrating.

As is typical with every health care provider there can be a wait but the drs never rush me through my exams. For the opticians, I always have great service and their prices for frames are excellent. I've gotten glasses from Costco etc where service is terrible. I'd rather pay a little extra and have real service. The drs always check to make sure the glasses fit properly.

Currently they have a 2 person maximum in the store/space due to covid, which I liked because it meant it wouldn't be crowded in the small office. While I did wait about 10 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, the exam was efficient and fast and all my concerns were answered with care. They have a large retail space in the front full of beautiful frame options. The staff is always friendly and the store is very convenient for me to get to, located in a plaza with lot's of parking. Note that the bathroom is not open right now due to covid-19.

I think the other poster is a little unfair...bringing in a competitors product and expecting her to fix them. In the end she did fix them and for a measly 5 bucks and you still give a 3 rating?
