We found a frame, but it wasn't quite the right size, so I took it up to the custom framing area to get some advice & Kayla helped us pick out a frame that was perfect! But it needed a custom mat to make the print fit right. I told her I needed it right away so I could drop it off today. I felt bad about it, but she was so sweet & she offered to cut one & assemble the mat & my print into the frame. She told us it would only take 15 minutes. I think she had it done sooner than that, even in between helping other customers. She is amazing & went above & beyond to take care of us & to make sure we had the perfect looking picture to put in the auction. The value was great & she did a very professional & beautiful job, which accentuated my artwork perfectly! If there were more people like Kayla, the world would be a better place! Great service with a big smile! I just wanted to make sure that the store managers know what a great job she is doing! I hope they read this. I didn't really know where to put in a good review for her at the Hobby Lobby website. The store was very organized & looked great. There's a wide range of sporting gear and accessories including skate guards, nets, and practice goals. It's a thrift type design, so it does depend on what people bring in to sell, but I've never had a hard time finding what I need. They have blade sharpening if you want to bring in your own skates, or they have a huge variety of hockey skates and some figure skates available to buy. Recently, I went in to look for soccer gear. I found matching adult and child soccer balls for my niece and I, and a pair of little cleats for her. They had a huge selection of kids soccer cleats and a good selection of adult ones, too. Pricing is fair, much lower than you'll find buying new and the quality of items is generally very good. The cleats were $15 for small kids cleats, and they were in great condition.

I've stopped by many times and have not regretted any purchase I had made. The owner is also very generous and has, on multiple occasions, given me a discount. I think it's because I was a loyal customer or something; I didn't ask, but don't expect to get things off for more than they already are. Now, having said the good things, let's have a dose of bad news. The parking. When I stopped here my first time I didn't know where to park since the lot itself is so small. In fact, a lot of places on this side of Saddle Creek seem to have lack of parking, as if they didn't want you there. I just park in front of the can recycling centre; I hope they don't mind. Second, it smells like smoke. Cigar smoke, at least. It doesn't bother me much but people who avoid anything relating to tobacco like the Plague should reconsider. Third, I've only ever seen the owner. Not that it gets busy, but when the store population triples to a total of "6" in the building, you might have to wait since there's only one register and one employee. I've never EVER seen anybody else work here.

I have not seen all the prices on everything, but the jewelry, musical instruments, and dvd's seem to be somewhere in the area of 25% to 75% cheaper than the same thing would cost new, and most of it looks like it is in good shape. I like that show "Pawn Stars" and this place kinda reminds me of it. The selection of items is immense. Every time I stop in, there seems to be less room to walk around because of all the stuff. Today there was a giant, remote controlled airplane on one of the counters lol. There is a lot going on in there, and one of the things I have noticed is that people seem to be pleased with the amount they get for their goods. This is important to me, because I have been on that end of things myself in the past, and I won't give my business to anyplace that rips people off when they are already down. It was 20 minutes before close, and the guy working turns the lights off on us. Mind you, there's also a couple more people getting ready to wrap up their shopping experience. We go to check out after the lights get shut off on us, and the guy was so rude - we each pay in cash and he is pretty much huffing and puffing with attitude the whole interaction. Throws the change in our hands and doesn't say a word throughout this. He then looks over at one other guy that is in the store and says under his breath "he needs to leave now" IN FRONT OF my friend and I. It's still like 10 minutes before close, and it's not like we're still in the store after close. So if you see an average height guy with light brown longer greasy hair, don't waste your time - he will absolutely ruin the vibe of your shopping experience. Other than this, the items being sold here are great prices and there is a good selection of home decor, furniture, and jewelry.
