Then the next day, when they picked it up, the guy walked around the boat and checked everything as OK. Initialed every thing on their checklist himself and I signed it. Later, we check our credit card bill and we were over-charged for $100 in damages, even though everything checked out and was initialed. Again, they refused to credit us despite the spotless check-in and signature of the employee. I've read other reviews that this has happened to others, but I gave them a shot anyway. Lesson learned. I inspect the bike and other then some scratches the only damage is the front rim is tweaked and the tire is flat. I call Bikes & Boards and talk to Ivan who says bring it in. We drive over and he trues the rim on the spot and changes the tube for $15. Really $15. In Chicago where we are from it would have been $50. This is an old school bike shop were they know bikes. No super snobby people just good old down home bike knowledge. If you ever get the chance stop in and say hello. These guys are the real deal.
