What I liked the most is that they actually had some stuff I hadn't seen at other sporting goods stores or department stores. Prices are good to comparable with the other sporting goods stores, and they had several active sales when I was in the store. In addition to apparel they have a large selection of workout equipment, racquet sports, basketball, football, baseball supplies and a large section dedicated to hunting and fishing - including guns, ammo, fishing poles, and all the fixings for a day out on the lake or river. They also look to have some seasonal type things, currently they have a big selection of summer type items related to the swimming pool or being on the water. Employees were friendly and took care of people quickly in the check out line. I'd highly recommend this location to anyone looking for the stuff I described above.

A couple of days after purchasing the IPhone I went back to the electronics department and showed Andrew W. the problems i was having. It was connecting to my apple account so my phone calls etc was showing up on the new iPhone. Andrew helped me reset the phone and he patiently walked me through the entire process even though it was time for him to go home. He was such a great help to me and has even offered to help me again if I have trouble with it when we get it activated. He is very knowledgeable and does a great job. I am very pleased. They carry "high end" (lululemon, Vouri, Patagonia, OnClouds, etc) outdoor clothing/shoes/accessories. Everything is reasonably priced and comparative to normal pricing. I get the the new one and attempt take the other one back. It had been in the pool for approximately 1 minute before we realized the part was missing. Lady working the counter at the Gadsden store was a bit of a snot and that's being kind. They refused to take back the vacuum back. They told me I have to call the manufacturer to get a letter so they can refund me. This stores corporate return policy is absolutely the worst. If you buy something and it's not right somehow it becomes your problem. I would not recommend buying from Academy unless you have money you don't mind wasting.
