To be honest, Talk N Coffee is traditionally something I would've been uninterested. However. On my first visit today, I was supremely impressed. The owner and roaster was extremely friendly and was more then happy to answer my weird questions and riff on grinders (he had just gotten a new one). He demonstrated excellent knowledge and passion. I selected something I traditionally wouldn't, the Fire Cracker coffee, one flavored like a Rocket Pop, and I was supremely impressed. The flavors are clear, but don't overshadow the coffee. Beans are single dosed, which is EXTREMELY uncommon outside of metros, and each one is handled with immense care. And for regular coffee lovers, like my wife, who love their Dunkin or Starbucks, the flavors offer the full flavor without the sugar. A peanut butter cup cold brew with milk goes twice as far as a similar drink elsewhere in flavor with probably 5% the calories. Highly recommend, even for fellow snobs.

Since we all asked for coffee, she brought a carafe for the table and that really impressed me. Our coffee cups were always full. We quickly ran out of sugar; instead of bringing more packets to the table, she brought us a free-pour sugar dispenser. How thoughtful! Throughout our meal, she checked on us several times and refilled our carafe, brought more creamer, and so on. It was refreshing to be so well attended to. Also, my brother-in-law ordered eggs benedict and much to his delight, the meal came out HOT and the poached eggs were cooked by a pro - just gushing with hot yolk when cut in half. My sister's meal came with pancakes and I ate one. Wow - on par with all of the other food: delicious! This was a really special breakfast for us and I am grateful to the Apron Café and the entire staff for making our visit wonderful and one that I want to repeat as soon as possible.
