The service was mediocre, but the donuts, specifically the Boston cremes, were very impressive, both in looks and in taste. The environment was warm and friendly. This pregnant mama needed her doughnuts. I walked in and was disappointed. My heart was broken and my feelings for Dunkin' doughnuts has officially been changed. I walked out with iced coffee that kept me in the bathroom for the rest of the day being that I'm lactose intolerant and order my coffee with oat milk but got whole milk instead. For a staff meeting this morning I thought I would do a sweet, savory breakfast mix. This was the worst place I could have gone. The stuffed biscuit bites were freeze burnt. The bacon was not cooked in the wraps, and the bagel cream cheese bites were dry as a bone. All of this could have been overlooked had the service been better. The counter lady had a scowl on her face the whole time I was there. Then I did the unthinkable. I asked to add something to my order. Don't have to worry about us coming back. Two stars only because the lady at the window was nice. I asked for a peach refresher with coconut milk, they gave it to me without and then when they gave it back to me my cup's lid was full of liquid. They didn't clean the top. It's like they poured out the refresher and just dumped the coconut milk in. I also ordered an avocado toast. My toast was not toasted. Typical DD! Drive thru is usually quick. I don't know why but I keep getting their breakfast sandwiches which aren't very good due to not being microwaved long enough. Just my guess because I usually get lukewarm spots or the croissant is kind of hard. Their coffee drinks very from plain black to their new craft flavors. My husband ordered a couple of coffees and breakfast sandwiches, along with half a dozen donuts. As has been the case since we arrived in town several days ago, we have had most of our meals delivered directly to our hotel room; not sure how/why the DoorDash delivery person got lost; highly irritated with the delivery service. Of note, this is the second time in the past couple of days that we've had an issue with DoorDash; we waited nearly an hour for an estimated 20 minute delivery time; saw on the phone app how the driver didn't seem to really know where he was going; our food was delivered to the front desk of the hotel and staff was nice enough to deliver to our room door; the coffee was spilled all over the cups and on the bag with the sandwiches. At this point, it was my suggestion to just toss the entire order and call Dunkin Donuts and DoorDash, but my husband just said maybe the delivery person was having a bad day and thought the food/coffee would be ok; I think he really appreciated the smiley face on the donut box (which was unscathed) and felt the blame laid solely with the delivery service; my husband and daughter both enjoyed the coffee and the sandwiches though we had to empty the coffee from the original cups. I am not sure who to blame, Dunkin Donuts for depending on a delivery service that appeared to be in "subpar" mode, or DoorDash for thinking it is ok to deliver food 40 minutes late to the wrong location! We have been in the midst of this pandemic for nearly a year now, and all of the delivery services should be pros by now! We just pray that no one tampered with the beverages/food items before it got to our door! In contacting DoorDash about this fiasco, we were given a credit for future orders, which seemed to satisfy my husband (not so much me though, I would have demanded a full credit back to my card!). read more

We try to go every once in a while hoping for better service but every time we're greeted with the same rudeness once again... we made a mobile order and after 20 minutes finally got to the speaker my mom said that we had a mobile order and the lady kind of just mumbled under her breath so my mom politely asked what she said and the lady yelled back asking for the name... we arrived at the window and she pretty much chucked our drinks at us and it spilled all over us as she just stared. I am never one to sit and write a review like this. Whenever I stay in a hotel or have a great experience somewhere I'm the first to put a five star review. I know the impact these reviews have as I worked in hospitality for four years of my life. That being said this review has to be written. I would say this is the worst Dunkins I've ever been to in my entire life but that doesn't do it good enough to explain the horrendous experiences I've had here. This is the worst fast food restaurant I've ever experienced and will ever experienced in my life. One time I was in the drive-thru line & some employees was in the back smoking a cigarette. He saw that I came through the drive-thru & was so upset that he had to get up & serve me he yelled out a scream & then said the f word. He looks me dead in the eyes when he did it - I was actually a tad bit nervous. Almost everytime I've gone inside I can loudly hear both the manager & employees making rude comments about customers coming through the drive thru line. One time I went in at around 6 AM requesting 50 munchkins. Now it may be because I'm from New England where Dunkins thrives, but they looked at me in UTTER DISGUST telling me I should have ordered ahead, and that they run out of donuts around 9AM everyday. They literally all conjugated around the register and practically shunned me. Well I'm no business expert...but doesn't that mean you should start ordering and preparing more donut considering your franchise is built off that product? I won't even go into detail about how gross my coffee and teas have tasted because that's besides the point. Anyway these are just some of the many incidences that made me start going to Starbucks. If you're wondering why I stuck around so long it's because I have been drinking Dunkins since I came out of the womb. It was honestly really hard for me to give up. But considering I will be living here for at least the next four years and the next closest Dunkins is in Destin - it was almost inevitable. Anyway my boyfriend who is not a coffee drinker would listen to me tell these stories. But I don't think he really understood because I tend to over-exaggerate. Well he just had the experience of his lifetime at this Dunkin's. To begin, he said the drive-thru was so long that it looped around the store into the street. He navigated himself into the parking lot, parked his car and walked inside. He explained to me that he walked in and the lobby was flooded with clearly dissatisfied customers who were waiting for their food. Once it was his turn, he ordered. He had to make not one, not two, but three substitutes. Did not have a croissant. Did not have a bagel. But they did have an English muffin. As he was ordering he said that one of the employees TOLD HIM that she was going to punch this other employee in the face. As he stepped back and waited for his order he joined the other two dozen customers waiting for their food. He emphasized how loud the employees were arguing with each other. He said everybody in the store was trying to get the workers attention but they were too busy screaming at each other to hear. He said somebody threw their apron on the floor and stormed to the back - she quit. At this point he described it as a war zone. Customers pushing through to discuss how unhappy they were about the wait, employees yelling at the manager and the manager yelling at the employees. But don't worry after only about a 45 minute wait, he was able to get his English muffin sandwich. Cold. Anyway with all that being said I would 10/10 NOT recommend going to this Dunkins. Three Starbucks in Fort Walton and they're all wonderful. And if you're maybe considering buying from a small business - Main Brew Coffee on Beal Parkway is great! read more

This Dunkin' location has never been very good but at this point they are just awful. Most of the staff are rude. The manager is scatterbrained. We ordered drinks through the drive thru, repeated our order multiple times and she still asked what our correct order was at the window. Literally 2 vanilla iced lattes, not hard. The drive thru line is always insanely long. They only let one car to the pick up window at a time and keep the rest waiting at the speaker. Always a 20/30 min wait in the drive thru. Mobile orders are never made until you go in and tell them you have a mobile pick up and then they ask you what you want and they make it. What's the point of a mobile order then??
