Sometimes Yelp reviews prepare you for disappointment. Sometimes they prepare you for disaster. And then there's the Dunkin in Jasper, Georgia, where the online rating of 1.6 stars had me expecting to walk into a caffeine-fueled remake of a post-apocalyptic movie. Thankfully, reality had other plans. My wife and I had just arrived from an early morning flight out of South Florida, and coffee had moved from being a beverage to being an immediate medical necessity. As we pulled into this Dunkin, I hadn't seen the reviews yet. Looking back, that's probably a good thing because a 1.6-star rating might have sent us searching for coffee somewhere else. Instead, we walked into a pleasant surprise. The store was clean. The display cases were well stocked. And unlike some Dunkin locations that look like they lost a battle against the morning rush, this one had a large variety of donuts available. We selected vanilla frosted donuts with sprinkles because sometimes adulthood means making responsible decisions, and sometimes it means eating a donut that looks like it was designed by a six-year-old. No regrets. More importantly, the coffee came out quickly, fresh, and exactly as ordered. Anyone who has ever traveled with someone who has a very specific coffee order knows this is no small achievement. My wife's drink was prepared correctly the first time, which immediately put this location ahead of a surprising number of coffee shops I've visited. The staff was friendly, courteous, efficient, and seemed genuinely engaged in what they were doing. Orders moved quickly, questions were answered politely, and everything felt organized and professional. Honestly, I kept waiting for the experience that would justify a 1.6-star rating. It never happened. Was this the greatest Dunkin experience in human history? No. But it was clean, friendly, fast, accurate, and exactly what travelers need when operating on airport schedules and limited sleep. So while I respect everyone's right to their opinion, I have to disagree with the crowd on this one. This location earned four stars from me. The only reason it doesn't get five is because I reserve five stars for experiences that truly knock my socks off. But for a quick coffee and donut stop after an early morning flight? Gabby the manager on shift is very unprofessional, poor manners. Stated she can refuse service when calling her out on her rudeness and disrespect towards other customers and employees. This may be Gabby's career, but this is not these young highschoolers career. This is supposed to be a fun environment respectful,caring, uplifting environment but that workplace is toxic with her being manager. always get your food wrong. And I mean ALWAYS It used to be maybe an item every now and then, but now after they got all new crew it's every single item. I even say the order slowly and they repeat it back perfectly....so not sure whats going on in there. read more

Everything needs to improve, this past year Dunkin has went so far down hill. There is no care for your orders anymore. The coffee is either old, burnt tasting, cold or theirs coffee grounds in the bottom of your cup (which is a no no) I mean how do you make a cappuccino cold and an easy fix for all those other problems is stop using too much coffee grounds. I hate to be a bearer of bad news but they either need new management, new employees or just maybe more training for both. Every time I come here it just gets worse. First a visit a couple of days ago they've started closing their kitchen during the night and overnight shift. We got there and sat in line for about five minutes with another three minute wait at the window according to my receipt. I ordered a sesame bagel (because at 12:30 they were already out of plain bagels which they will not bake more for the rest of the day) just warmed up in the oven, a 6 piece hash brown, and a large sweet tea. My bagel was not warmed up and they acted like I hadn't ordered a large sweet tea or a sweet tea at all. They charged me for a medium which is .40$ less than the large and tried to have me pay 3.00 for a large and they hadn't even looked at my order when they tried to charge me. The only reason I keep going back here is because all the other fast food places in the area are just as bad or worse than Dunkin. Hopefully they can get it together because as a previous employee of multiple Dunkin locations I know it is not that difficult to listen and take an order correctly and at least have customer service if you mess it up. read more

I'm confused about Dunkin Donuts. You walk into any Mcdonalds, every Big Mac always tastes the same. Dairy Queen, every Blizzard, exactly the same. Even in my business, I have charts up to make things. Like for drinks it's add this much mix, this much water, this much ice, simple. I imagine the charts in Dunkin Donuts look something like this: Step 1: Add as much coffee as you feel like they want Step 2: If your name starts with A-M add more flavoring than anyone would ever want in the customers drink If your name starts with N-Z, add no flavor. Step 3: If customer requests so many creams, or sugars, DO NOT listen to what they want. Decide what kind of day you're having. If you're having a tough day and don't feel like pressing the creamer button more than once or twice, then they'll just have to deal with it. If you drank too much coffee this morning, and need to burn off some extra energy, just go crazy and pump their coffee full of cream and sugar. I've had so much trouble with this store over the years...too much to write about. I always swear I'll never go back, but after a few months I am usually willing to give them another chance. Last time for me. Twice in the past I found not one, but several hairs mixed in with the donuts. Not like one accidental drifting hair but a bunch of mixed ones like the donuts hit the floor at some point. I turned them into the health department with pictures the second time it happened. That was a couple of years ago after a previous swear-off. My wife talked me into another try today. This place is a joke cant even get a order right even with the place completely empty I went here just for a coffee at least 7 times after work and they got my order wrong 4 of those times with no other costumer at the store the donuts are about the same quality as Walmart's. the workers like to play around and not take it seriously also I have a friend that worked here and was getting hit on by a girl 24/7 and made him feel very uncomfortable sense he was with some and when he reported it they just shrug it off as normal. read more
