Placed a mobile order 15 minutes before I arrived. Order wasn't ready and they were not busy, but 5 employees were just a chit chatting away. None of them said hello or asked if I needed help. When I finally got someone's attention they admitted my order wasn't ready. Then some of the items I ordered were not available. To top it all off... there must be a sprinkle shortage (or something) because what was on 4 donuts was barely anything... I've seen cops with more sprinkles stuck in their beard than these donuts. Last week I saw the holiday hour for NEW YEARS EVE THAT THEY CLOSE AT 3:00PM. I live in MN and have a Dunkin Donuts near my house, but I was born in La Crosse and visit frequently. I go to Dunkin Donuts every morning when I'm visiting and just get an XL Coffee and XL Hot Tea for my mom. I have even commented to my mom most weekends that I'm there how wonderful the staff is. I go through the drive through, but they are always so happy and gives me the impression that they just love their jobs! It is refreshing to feel at any establishment. It is very encouraging, and I never tip an establishment when going through a drive through, but I tip this location each and every time! I will say... I do NOT tip at the location by my house in MN. There is one staff member at my local DnD that I love, the rest I usually ask to fill my coffee up all the way. I won't review that location, but in Lacrosse, I'm grateful to have this option in the morning. Don't complain if you think prices are too high, this is a franchise and not this locations fault if you order hashbrowns and have to pay $1.49. Check the price before you buy and if you don't like it you can choose not to buy it (per some other review I read and feel unfair that it rates this location lower due to that reviewers choice). I salute the employees and owner of this location for a STAFF well done! And yes, we have on occasion gone in and had a breakfast sandwich, it was a healthy size and delicious! I ordered a medium iced coffee with almond milk since I am lactose intolerant and I cannot have real milk. After I received my coffee I realized I did not get cream and sugar. I asked the barista to add it for me and she seemed annoyed and said "So you want almond milk, cream, and sugar?" I said "yes please" she took the coffee and added it. As the one employee takes orders, makes sandwiches, makes drinks and bags donuts......I'm unsure if the service is slow because of poor management or poor employment screening. I did not really need a Donut, I need to lose a few. I did not need a donut, but I wanted one and I also I like coffee so I drove up to the menu. Well, kinda drove up to the menu, because the car in front of my had not cleared the menu for me to pull ahead, so I waited. As I am waiting I hear the employee (female) say, " can I help you", I thought sure but I was not close enough for her to hear me.... once I pulled up, she asked if I needed help and I said, "nope just pulled up to read them menu." no response. Then I proceeded to order an extra large coffee (remember me DD employee, hope so) and I wanted a creme filled donut, but was not sure what kind. I male employee came over the mic and said, "we have 33 kinds." and I said, "ok" then female came back, "yeah, we can't put them all on the menu..due to that..." *this is where I would think they or one would make a suggestion, be nice, have a little bit of customer service, help me a little... I am nice and not picky" So the mic went dead and I got nothing from them.... so I canceled the order. I did not feel welcome here at all, I pick up on this right away too, I get it is early and you might not be awake but these two were actively and audibly annoyed from the moment I was asked can I help you, I get you you hate your job maybe? So today to cool off from the 90 degree summer heat, a friend and myself decided to treat ourselves to some iced dunkin donuts drinks. I also had a coupon for $1 off 25 munchkins which I planned to use. Upon arrival into the drive thru, the worker was already notably flustered. We ordered two separate orders, one just a coffee and the other the munchkins and an ICED vanilla chai. We pulled up to the window to pay and the man was clearly very stressed. He told us he was the only person working! Shame on Dunkin Donuts for inadequately staffing this location and placing a great responsibility on a single employee. This worker was hustling as hard as he could but the work load was too much for one person. He instructed is to pull ahead and said he would bring out our drinks. He never did, so we had to go in to recurve them. My ICED vanilla chai came in a hot beverage styrofoam cup, which made me immediately worried! Upon sipping the vanilla chai it was apparent that this had been brewed a HOT vanilla chai, and then ice had simply been thrown into it! Very disappointed. I do not blame the worker, I blame the company that scheduled him all by himself. Hopefully they learn from this mistake and begin to treat their employees with more respect. I blame myself,,, It wasn't a Donut... and other than a cup of coffee... I didn't order something to Dunk it in... Terrible service. I was on time constraint this morning so I decided that I would go through the Dunkin drive thru. The person who took my order was not personable at all. I ordered a large mocciato, big and toasted,vsome hashbrowns, ketchup and ranch to go along with my meal (she assured me she would put the dipping sauces in the bag herself). The lady asked me to pull ahead and she would bring my food out shortly. I waited in the parking lot for 15 minutes when I finally decided to go inside and get my food myself. I asked the employees about my food and they stated that it has been sitting on the back counter. I also asked for a receipt. The lady who took my order (who appeared to be the manager) stated that I should have gotten one when my order was taken (which I didn't) then stated they could not re-print the receipt and tried to blame her mistake on the other employees. No one apologized for their many mistakes (including forgetting my dipping sauces). The food was cold and soggy when I finally was able to take a bite. I was extremely disappointed since Dunkin Donuts is my favorite coffee shop. However, I will NOT be going back to the LaCrosse location. read more
