Absolutely terrible experience at the Dunkin' Donuts in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. The young lady at the drive-thru was incredibly rude and had a nasty attitude from the moment I started ordering. No greeting, no professionalism just straight-up annoyance like she didn't want to be there. I asked a simple question about adding banana cream to my regular latte (which was done for me the day before with no problem), and instead of helping, she immediately shut it down with an attitude. No explanation, no effort--just rude and dismissive. If you don't like dealing with customers, you shouldn't be working the drive-thru. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and gives the whole place a bad reputation. Customer service here is clearly not a priority. Do better read more

Been here more than a few times and experience has typically been the same: sloooow service, esp thru the drive thru from mid morning to late afternoon. My order hasn't been correct most of the time, esp when it's with those buy an item get a coffee free. Or if I'm ordering a coffee and donut thru preorder via their app. Somehow they usually forget my donut! With the said, at least the donuts, Bfast sandwiches and coffee taste like they do at other locations. I come to this Dunkin' Donuts sometimes for convenience. But today was it! I asked for my usual iced coffee with less ice cream and sugar with white chocolate and an order of hash browns. The lady behind the counter proceeded to give me a terrible attitude talked to herself under her breath. After waiting 10 minutes I got my coffee which was slightly over 3/4 full. I downloaded this app just to review this place thats how bad it was. Extremely unsanitary I went in the actual building and order a colada with one of my friends. The firstly didn't know how to make the drink and we wait for 15 minutes while we watched the person dump it out and remake it multiple times for it to still not taste right. Secondly the seriously need to invest into a frebreeze for the bathroom a women came in and absolutely blew up the toilet. The smell was in unbearable and atrocious and lasted at least 20 minutes it was absolutely disgusting knowing her poop particles were floating around please get some air freshener. Thirdly it was very uncomfortable sitting down because the workers continuously looked at us. And to top it all of we waited about 20 minutes for a 20 pack of munchkins and we had to ask for them because they forgot. The manager said they changed the price a long time ago and would not honor what was on the sign. The cashier and manager were not friendly at all. Stopped at the Drive-Thru last Thursday morning ( this is the one close to the Shell Station) for coffee. There were two guys working the window. I asked for my regular black coffee with cream and sugar on the side--no problem, except they did not give me a stirrer. This might be the slowest Dunkin Donuts in the entire state of NJ. If you order via the app, you will arrive at their drive through 10 minutes later, with no customers in the entire establishment, and they won't have your food/drink ready. This Dunkin Donuts was awful! My experience began with the kid behind the counter, who was very out of it and seemed off the entire time. This lead to being charged twice for a meal that we wanted one of. A meal that was completely overpriced in the first place. Next, we waited for our order which was incorrect. By far the WORST Dunkin' Donuts I've ever been to. I've been going there on and off for years and the staff changes but the bad experiences remain. It's almost always staffed with kids who aren't paying attention. Even when there's a line, there would be 3 or 4 of them goofing off in the food prep area while one poor soul is left running the register very slowly. Even the adults that work there typically have bad attitudes. They also aren't consistent on when the "free donut when filling out the survey" receipts can be used with an order. They ARE pretty consistent about not giving you your receipt, though. My DD Perks account has also been double charged for an order a couple of times before and it's only happened at this location. Besides the poor quality of much of the staff there, they typically lack variety in the items they carry. Their donut variety is pretty sparse compared to other DDs in the area and not always the freshest. Besides donuts, the last time I went, they ran out of dark roast coffee. It was around 1PM (so after the lunch rush) and no other customers were in the store. The girl behind the counter said they didn't refill it. How do you run out of coffee right in the middle of the day?? With no more customers, they had plenty of time to make a fresh pot! It's happened to me once at another store and they offered to make a fresh batch for me, which I gladly waited for. Not at this store, though! Instead, I just left empty-handed. Finally, they typically do not really listen to your orders. Light ice gets you at least half a cup of ice. Light sugar gets you a few packets worth of undissolved sugar at the bottom of your cup. I kept going there every now and then over the years due to the convenience of the location to me but I'm done with them. read more
