Food to be expected but if you're in a hurry, might want to think about going elsewhere. Fast food shouldn't take 30 min to get through a normal sized line. I managed to make my breakfast, as I can't eat DD anymore, and eat it in the time it took to move forward three car lengths. 1. Employee was in bathroom changing clothes to begin her shift & took FOREVER. Line started with customers waiting. Employees should NOT rely on bathroom for this, making customers wait! 2. Employees who just ended their shift placed orders (?) which grew line and slowed things down 3. I finally got to place my order. Employee was unfriendly and looked like she could care less about working there. Couldn't help explain question I had regarding rewards. 4. Received donut, but had to stand and wait TOO long for my latte. No one asked if I needed help. I had to remind them I never received my coffee. No accountability or apology. They blamed the earlier employees who ended their shift and placed orders before me. Said one of them must have taken my beverage on accident. I was standing there and did not witness this, so think it was false and a poor excuse. I was told, "we'll make it again for you" That's on DD, not on me. Should have received an upgrade or free donut for the unnecessary wait. I normally love DD and have never received such poor service. Sad to say that we stopped at the shop off the interstate in NP on our way past for breakfast. My mom had gotten a large coffee and it ended up being burnt coffee and the lid was so loose the coffee was dripping all over through the edge of the lid. Not sure who is doing employee training at this location, but it needs some work in the customer service department. Wanted to purchase a large coffee but was informed they were out of large cups. We were given the option to purchase either a med. or XL. I asked if they could put the large amount in an XL cup and they refused saying rather rudely that it would mess up their inventory. Seriously???? There should NEVER be a reason you run out of sizes in cups, this is poor management. Blaming it on a truck that hasn't come with your delivery is just childish and makes management look incompetent at doing their job sufficiently. Went through the drive through on a Sunday at 12:30pm. Ordered 2 avocado toast, 2 breakfast sandwiches and 1 donut. Waited at the window for 28 minutes. 3 people asked if we had all our drinks (we didn't order any drinks), on the 4th checkin I stated this was a really long wait for 5 items no acknowledgement or apologies she shut the window. When we got the avocado toast the boxes were filthy but toast was fine. One of the breakfast sandwiches was on untoasted sourdough and was cold, the other sandwich was as on a smashed croissant and missing the egg. I wouldn't waste your time stopping here. Pros: Clean inside, friendly staff, open late. Inexpensive compared to other coffee places. Various rotating "specials" (free coffee on Mondays, etc). Cons: Inconsistent quality -- I've ordered the same drink on different occasions, and while sometimes it's good...other times it's undrinkable. They need a consistent, strictly-enforced training program for all employees. I really only go to a chain for price and consistency, so those need ton be on point. read more

I would have given the food and cleanliness 4 to 4.5 stars compared to other Dunkin Donut locations however what I witnessed today has never happened to me at any other restaurant ever. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese croissant as I always do when I order from DD. I order it with the hash browns. It comes with 6 hash browns in a package. Please be sure to count them because this is how some locations like to pick up a little profit and include only 4 or 5. I had to wait a quit a bit and while waiting I was watching a very heavy set gentleman in black slacks and what looked like a manager button down prep my meal. Everything on the sandwich was prepped correctly and the sandwich was even stacked nicely. So I was starting to look forward to my meal. Then when he pulled out the hash browns I saw him start to transfer BY HAND, my hash browns to the bag. Then he left one on the heating try and only brought me a bag with five in it. I told him he forgot one on the tray. His reply still has me mad, no sir that's for the next order. These only come with five. So confused I turned to get my ketchup until out of the corner of my eye I saw him go back to that tray and shove that 6th hash brown in his mouth. Unbelievable when you start lying to customers to support your over-eating. Too bad for that DD as well. Having an employee like this is a liability. Who goes to DD for chicken? Weirdos. I'm a Chicago native and have to sometimes drive from Denver to home. There is nothing to look forward to on this long drive through Nebraska except this Dunkin that is so conveniently located next to one of the cheapest gas stations off the interstate that has diesel. I plan my road trips to stop here. This DD is super clean and the staff is friendly as you would expect from Midwestern folk. The lady was so nice to also fill up my water bottle for me as I hadn't stopped for almost 400 miles and was totally parched. I'm in North Platte many times a week for my job and been to many Dunkin' Donuts from coast to coast. This is my favorite location out of the hundreds I've been to. As the dingbat said in a previous review that "the donuts are frozen". They are not. They are the freshest donuts I've ever had in fact, never once have I had a bad donut at this location. Story time: about a month ago I went on a road trip and passing through North Platte, so I decided to get some coffee at Dunkin' Donuts. Luckily I was there 5 minutes before closing so I had just made it. It wasn't until 2 and a half hours aka (200 miles) when I realized I left my $700 Louis Vuitton... as anyone would have felt, I was extremely sad and disappointed in myself for leaving it. I then realized I used the restroom in Dunkin' and usually I put my wallet with my phone on the toilet paper holder. I knew what I had to do. I had to wake up at 5 AM when Dunkin' opened so I could make sure no one takes it seeing at though I was one of the last people in there the previous night. When I called, they instantly knew I was calling for the Louis Vuitton wallet and made sure to check my identity so it was given to the right person. The manager did everything in her power to make sure I got my wallet so she expedited it to my house in California. I offered to Venmo some money over to the manager so she went by saying "no worries, we want all out customers to be satisfied. We are happy to help". This made me so unbelievable happy. We ordered an iced coffee and a frozen coffee. The girl taking our order must've had a hard time hearing, which is fine, but she was slightly rude in her tone. We repeated our order. She was also upset that we called the frozen coffee a frappe. I didn't think it mattered, but we pulled up to the window and paid. The frozen coffee had coffee all over it. Worst service ever. I've never been inclined to review a coffee shop before, but something has got to change at this place. Went inside as there was a few car line in the drive thru and there was ONE other person in front of me. Ended up being a 25-30 minute ordeal for a SMALL BLACK COFFEE. It cannot be much easier than that at a coffee and donut establishment with no one else in line. As I stood there waiting for someone to take my order and then waiting for my coffee, the line inside grew and grew, with no service from the front counter. Probably 10-12 people working in the back and not one of them had any regard for the line that was growing inside. Absolutely no sense of urgency from the employees. And no one knew what they were doing. A real disaster behind the counter. All 12 people were working only on drive thru orders. I would say, if you're going here, do drive thru only...but really I would just urge you to take yourself over to the Starbucks across the street instead. read more

I have never been so disrespected by a grown woman in my life. The "manager/owner" of this Dunkin Donuts named LAURA was brought to the front register after we talked to the other workers when me and my sister pre-ordered and when In to pick it up we asked kindly why there was two of the same drinks made and they said that the order went through twice and to make sure we didn't get charged. So we said okay and got the rest of our stuff and went outside to the car, when we got there checked our bank and saw that it did charge us twice for our full order so we said okay they said to go back if it charged twice so we kindly walked back inside and said that it did charge twice and kindly asked what we needed to do to get the refund and that's when they brought out "Laura" this lady came up to me and my sister let alone her mask was not on properly and started to raise her voice at us before we could even speak. She yelled and said she needs two receipts or we don't get refunded and a printed out statement of my bank information proving it charged twice, and I assume she thought we were lying about it trying to scam money out of the company? Asked if we hit the order button twice and proceeds to talk to us like we are mentally ill with the rudest attitude let alone we have no idea how the refunds work and how that company goes about something like that. So I go get two receipts out of my car and she was so agitated with her job and us for no reason. Then proceeded to say okay I will keep these receipts and it will be refunded in 48hrs and if not come back which I appreciated her actually explaining to us the process cause once again we don't work there. I assume it's been happening a lot? The resolution of something like this is to fix the problem which is the app to make sure others aren't getting charged twice as well. That's not our problem it's yours and you ruined me and my sisters whole day by the way you talked to us. We were calm and collected and you were acting like a child, if you hate your job that much then quit. I come here this afternoon to meet someone for coffee. 1) Service: Not horrible, but not great. I would have expected it to be a little better considering it wasn' t busy and there were plenty of people working. They just weren't very nice 2) I was disappointed in my donuts.
