When I'm traveling in the middle of the USA, I inevitably have coffee at Scooters and this trip was no exception. The Scooters in North Platte shares space with a bank. Don't worry, you aren't required to hand over any more money than the price of a cup of coffee. My hot latte to go was delicious. I love that they always deliver it with a sticker so you can cover the sippy part of the cup and keep it hot. The festive cup art is fun too. Great way to start the day. read more

We waited in the drive through for over 15 minutes, nine minutes of it waiting for two coffees and a bottle of water while the girls were talking. When we finally got our order and drove off, we tasted it and it was wrong. It was not a Caramelicious, it was some unflavored burnt coffee and the ice coffee was watered down and flavorless. A waste of $20 since we are traveling and did not have time to go back. If this was the first Scooters we had ever been to we would never go back. I would go here if nothing else is open which was the case for me. The coffee itself is really just OK, definitely below Dunkin Donuts status. Sandwich options are not impressive. My latte tasted like what someone images a latte might taste like if they had never had one but read about them online. Confusing to find it's connected to a bank/office building with obscure signage. Meh meh read more

Ironically, the staff is amazing at this store. The manager is terrible. Talk to you in a very sweet voice, and then if she has a problem, rules her eyes at you, then she tries to say the staff has a problem with you, which is all a lie I don't know what's going on at this Scooters but if you're looking for a good Americano, forget it, the machine doesn't make it correctly. If you're looking for an espresso forget it the machine doesn't make it correctly you're better off going to a local hand brewed coffee shop in North Platte. read more

I ordered a $5 small iced coffee with no ice and received a half cup of coffee. Being told by a MANAGER that they can't fill the cup all the way Unless I wanted to pay more for milk. If I could show a picture I would upload it. Not happy with my experience whatsoever. read more

If you are in North Platte or driving thru Nebraska on I80, you like good coffee, you're not big on Starbucks but don't want diner coffee or truck stop coffee---GO HERE. This coffee shop is attached to what appears to be a brand new bank building. It's about a mile into town off the State highway 83 exit. The baristas were very sweet, they served a really good ciabatta breakfast sandwich and a delicious mocha, there is table and comfy chair seating (and an outdoor patio which we didn't use because of the weather). It looks brand spanking new it's so clean! And if you've been on the highway for a while, are tired of the crappy bathrooms at truck stops? This coffee shop shares the bathroom facilities with the bank next door. Fancy and clean. What more could you want? A nice potty, a good cup of joe, and something good to eat. Worth it to drive a bit off the interstate! read more

Hadn't been before, but the gal working drive thru was more than patient and happy to go over some various options my husband and I might enjoy. Have never been disappointed with Scooter's. Excellent service and great coffee. But the only down-vibe I get from the stores is they include a whole lot of extras that just seem to detract from a coffee shop environment. I'm just not a big fan of satellite cold-cases with unrelated beverages that are not on the regular menu, it just takes away from the product you should promote. read more

I literally can't explain how much I love this magical, beautiful, perfect place. One chilly day in October, I was sitting reading my poetry book in the nice lobby. After I got my delicious, scrumptious, gorgeous, hot latte with an EXTRA shot, I sat down in the very nice and clean booth. Then, when I was sipping on my very delicious drink, handmade by a pretty blonde girl, who was very nice and funny, I read my book. This is how I met the love of my life. The man was tall and handsome, and actually bald. if I threw a nerf gun bullet at his head, it would have stuck. Anyway, I like bald men. This man wooed me with the way he portrayed his latte to me. He asked me what I got as a simple conversation starter, and I told him that I got a medium, half flavored vanilla oat milk latte. He smiled and said "wow, impressive" and then we started to talk. We talked until we hit 9pm, in which Scooters was closing. Needless to say, now in December, we are engaged and our wedding is next year. I just wanted to say, North Platte Scooters is responsible for me finding my true love. If anyone hates on scooters ever, I will literally come find you, and.... convince you that you're wrong. Expensive for what you get. The "large" iced coffee was pretty small, cost me $5, and tasted burnt. I was in town for the weekend and away from my usual coffee shop.....I drink iced coffee every single day without fail, and Starbucks' espresso machines were down so I ended up here at Scooter's. We pulled away and ended up living with the disappointment at around $5. Maybe inexperienced attendant? First impressions live a long time and won't be back. I have been a customer at scooters ever since this branch opened up in North Platte. In my opinion scooters has gone downhill since it has come under new management. New employees that are hired don't know how to make the drinks properly. Sometimes I get good coffee and most of the time it tastes awful. I would rate this a negative number if I could. Two times I asked for a 16 oz latte when ordering. Went up to pay and was handed a 12 oz latte. Complained, and the lady said our small is a 16 oz. Idiot. We have our own stand. How can someone working at a stand NOT know the difference between 12 oz & 16 oz cups??? And $10?? And NOT to make it right when we complained??? Beware!!
