I moved back to the area in 2016 and rediscovered the Canton. I was amazed that the shrimp fried rice was exactly as I remembered it. Legend has it, the same man that cooked then, does the cooking now. This guy makes, hands down, the best fried rice within 50 miles probably even further. It is not like the yellow buffet rice with mixed frozen vegetables other Chinese restaurants try to sell you. It is fried rice with a soy sauce, onions, bean sprouts and a very generous portion of shrimp. The shrimp doesn't taste like chlorine either. Canton has been a weekly go to during the 2020 Quarantine. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. I can't comment on other menu items, but the fried rice is epic!
