It's just that the previous time that I was in there I paid about $135 for my meal and someone else's meal. Since the juice was not that great, I told the lady she said well. The expiration date hasn't expired... imagine that. Also, I told her that the grits never made it to the table. She blended on the cook, but on the ticket she never wrote grits down so how would they cook know... unless he's a MIND READER AND A COOK!! in that case he's probably not getting paid enough. She didn't take off for the grits. She said she already took off for the bad juice. I'm a great tipper. She never got one. So today I was pretty happy to go in and see one of the great waitresses and my favorite cook. I seen them from the outside other than that I would've never even entered that place of business again. I'm glad I did because the roast beef was great and the service was outstanding. And I'm glad the other lady, her name was Michelle by the way... she was not there. She was just totally rude. Unprofessional. And uncaring. I have to say again today's service was excellent and the meal was outstanding. I just don't do rude. I don't do unprofessional. I do quality. Even though I was getting full and kinda anxious to get going, I was rather hypnotized by the refrigerator of freshly made pies. I don't think I've had homemade pie that good since gorging at Valois back in my olden grad school days in the South Side of Chicago. I got a harvest turkey cranberry sandwich, a falling leaves latte, and a honey lavender latte while I was there. The sandwich was very large and I had a hard time finishing it. The lattes were sweet and refreshing. The sandwich cost $15, and each of the lattes cost $5.50. They do have allergy information for the sandwiches, but not for the bakery items, which was unfortunate, since their raspberry donut cheesecake looked decadent. They are a cashless facility and do accept Apple Pay. They have a variety of indoor and outdoor seating.
