I reached out to Geoff and as always, he was very responsive and offered to repair these items. Geoff and his team stand by their workmanship and products. They put a lot of emphasis on both, the quality of their work and customer satisfaction. It's becoming hard to find companies/business owners that care and take pride in their work. I will continue to recommend Swanson!

After waiting a year and a half I have decided it was time to review Swanson's Landscaping. I had…read moreSwanson's Landscaping build a pad for my swim spa and hot tub. They were recommended by my swim spa dealer, Turbo Spas in Dublin. The crew was easy to work with, professional and followed my instructions to the letter. I just want to give some feedback from what I have learned since because this will help others avoid the same mistake I made. After waiting 28 days for the concrete to cure I set my 12' swim spa and 8' hot tub on the pad. 6 months later my swim spa cracked on the bottom. I am not sure about this but I believe the spa cracked because of the control lines running underneath the spa because that is where the spa shell cracked. Lessons learned is never add control lines where a swim spa will be set. This was no fault of Swanson's, It was my fault for recommending control line locations. All is well now because my swim spa was repaired and I have the spa floating on 3" of crushed rock and a spa pad. The spa pad and rock sit on top of 6" steel reinforced concrete.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the transformation of my outdoor space. From the start, Hugo was fantastic. He helped me navigate the design phase, offering creative solutions and solid ideas that I hadn't even considered. During construction, Nick was incredibly accommodating. Even though it was clear he had a very busy schedule, he made a point to visit the site daily and was always available to answer my calls, which I really appreciated. The crew themselves were hard workers and clearly skilled in their trade. That said, with a project of this scale, I found that being a highly involved homeowner was necessary. There were a couple of instances where I had to step in to point out issues that might have otherwise gone unnoticed. To their credit, FG Pavers corrected these items immediately once they were raised. I'd recommend them for their craftsmanship and their willingness to make things right.

Project: Installing Porcelain/Saltillo-style matte patio with inlays and a paver walkway…read moreSummary: I'd hire FG Pavers and Turf again at the drop of a hat, no questions asked. Bid/Quote: They came, inspected the project site and gave a complete quote including the construction detail. Tiles in an outdoor patio is uncommon, so we had a lot of questions from the grading to rebar to water proofing to sealent to grout. FG answered all the questions and accommodated our requests to align with the tile vendor recommendations. Price competitiveness: We spoke with 4 paver companies. 1 didn't want to do Porcelain tiles+ Paver, 1 didn't meet our budget, job was too small for one. Project Management: regular site visits by the site lead. Eduardo is a gem. They helped us pick the right material, picked up the tiles, did the dry layout and kept us updated on the schedule Work site: Saul and his team were punctual, spotless at the end of workday and walked through every step of the process. They made sure we reviewed the progress and that we approved the changes. We had a couple of last minute changes. Eduardo/Saul accommodated that. Saul is awesome to work with Quality of work: Wife can't stop beaming. I am going to be cashing that check for a while

Not only was the quality of the craftsmanship top-notch, but the professionalism exhibited was some of the best I have ever experienced with a contractor. Back to the craftsmanship: Jaime gave me solid advice on the types of stones to select - travertine tile, ledge stone, quartz for the bbq counter, and field tile for the bbq backsplash and the fire pit. Every single piece was cut, shaped or ground as needed, with Jaime often providing direction where I needed it. The result is a stunning backyard, all thanks to Jaime's work. When the raw box for the grill provided by a reseller directly to me, proved to have incorrect cutouts, Jaime stepped in, and with no charge, helped fix the mistake. I also appreciate that Jaime told me what he could, but shouldn't, do: the shell for the fire pit and the bbq were better left for the equipment reseller. Jaime's guys just made them look amazing after installation with ledge stone, field tile and quartz countertops. All expertly done. The communication was also good - as with all good contractors, Jaime is busy, but he sets expectations well. One day, when he got started later than he wanted, but needed to get done because equipment installation was dependent on his completion, his two guys stayed until 11 PM to finish up! Just good people - Jaime and all of his family (and, yes, it is mostly family) are the nicest guys. Polite, friendly and generous with advice, often proactively so: I'd never have thought to backlight the quartz counters, but following this piece of unsolicited advice proved wise. Sambrano's guys were also COVID safe, wearing masks when close to me, and avoiding unnecessary handshakes and such. . Thank you, Sambrano's Masonry!

We had many questions and made changes over the course of the project, but Jamie was always supportive and really seemed to care about what we wanted and not just about getting the job done. We also had the added need of wanting our pool project done before leaving for vacation - Jamie and his team helped make that happen. They were always on time, worked hard and did a high quality job. Sambrano's Masonry did our pool tile, coping and concrete. I highly recommend the company for any masonry job you may have. You'll be very happy with the results that Sambrano's Masonry delivers!
