Candy Cane Mocha Nitro Nirvana certainly lives up to its name (just a tad on the sweet side). My friend enjoyed her hot chocolate (requesting a mug, like me). Her Cheese Croissant was a Ham & Cheese Croissant without the ham (dietary restrictions) made perfectly to her specifications. The sugar cookie and pistachio muffin were ok. There are closer coffee shops near my friend's house but this is the one she loves the most, so we come here. There is an upcharge for soy or almond or oat milks...so your specialty coffee ($7.80) can cost more than the stated price. read more

Absolutely the closest coffee place to the Rice Creek Dog Park and it's hard to get fellow dog walkers to stop...I don't know why! This Dunn Brothers is clean and quiet, lots of menu items as well as coffee & teas & frappes. It's a chain, so the costs are comparable to others. I enjoy sitting outside on the patio with my cuppa during non-winter months! Thank you Dunn Brothers for offering $1 off of any prepared beverage! They overcharged me and then treated me like an idiot when I asked for clarification on a price. Sorry, but a 12 oz vanilla latte isn't over $6, and Ive never paid that before at this location. In fact I've ordered 16 oz vanilla lattes and was charged less. I am extremely disappointed. I know not every employee is as rude or careless, but what a bummer. read more

Came here on our last trip to MN and after trying Caribou for a while we decided to try out Dunn Brothers. They're like any other coffee shop, nothing stands out on the menu. Service was really friendly which is always a plus. read more

I really appreciate this location. They have a great team of staff, who are always friendly and welcoming. Their coffee tastes great and the honey they use is the best I've had. When I had to study or meet people for coffee, I had to choose a different coffee shop since this one closed so early. I don't know of they used to be open later and didn't make enough profit so closed earlier. They should try staying open late again, advertise the new hours and see how it goes. Add more 3-season outside patio tables with umbrellas! (Tell Subway to add some of their own outdoor tables and then put up a screen divider or small fence between the two spaces and also along your drive-through for a more welcoming patio space and so Subway's customers don't use up your tables when your customers need them.) read more

When it comes to coffee shops I visit, this place does deserve the 5-star Yelp title of "as good as it gets!" I don't drink actual coffee, so I can't comment on the beans or whatnot. The Vanilla Nirvana something (chilled or hot) is my favorite; a great mix of coffee flavor and a bit of sugar. There's other tasty drinks that I've learned to like from advice given by the baristas or just from guessing. Speaking of the staff, they're friendly to talk to, and they have fresh bakery items. I prefer the cookies sold at other Dunn's, but the other items (from the few I've had) are amazing. Stop by here, especially if you're on your way to a long, grueling day of work! read more

My wife and I like to frequent this place. The staff is pleasant and the coffee is great. Cappuccino for me... Mocha whatever for my wife. Of course it helps that it is close to home. Its a locally owned franchise and I like frequenting small businesses. I know that sounds weird to people in the city, but independently named coffee shops don't seem to do well in the suburbs (at least up North). The ones I have really liked out here have just seemed to fizzle out. The rating is based on the locality. Suburbia has a distinct lack of non-corporate coffee shops. read more

Been going here since the day they opened. Haven't been here in awhile and decided to try their breakfast egg sandwich. I opted for a biscuit, sausage, cheddar and spinach for my choices. Coffee is among the low end of all Dunn Bros. Employees are extremely rude. They open at 6:00AM and the employees are walking in at the time they open. During the hour we were there this morning an employee ran a vacuum cleaner to clean the grinder that sounded like an airplane engine. HOW RUDE! Did she not get it that there were customers trying to talk? Then as she took equipment apart, she kept banging the different things on the floor to get the coffee out. Initially I had a lower rating for this Dunn brothers because of the experience below; however after posting the following the owner reached out and acknowledged it. They have gluten free bread which is wonderful and you would expect them to have some knowledge of 'gluten'. Yet another updated review. Stood at the counter today holding my empty cup while two people walked by and a couple other people looked over at me, so I ditched the rest of my muffin and left. Looked like six people working. Called to complain and was told it was "really busy," but in my opinion you can always acknowledge a customer's presence. As I've said before, the coffee and pastries are good--and they still are--but I don't like to be ignored, and I won't be back. In fairness, they seem to have plenty of satisfied customers. Maybe I'm just unreasonable, but life is too short to patronize places that piss you off. read more

The speciality coffee was good but ordered a bagel and breakfast sandwich with it. The bagel was just a standard bagel and didnt come buttered. The butter was so cold when it was given to us that spreading was hard. The build your own breakfast sandwich had one price listed. Showed the options but did not make it clear on the menu that EVERYTHING was extra. So a $5 breakfast sandwich turned into $13 with bread, sausage and avocado which was thought to be included in the price. Would have rather gotten a sit down breakfast at a diner for that price. Dunn Brothers Coffee is a great place to grab a great tasting coffee. They roast their beans at the shop. The staff at this particular location are always friendly and have a great playlist of music playing. The shop and bathroom is always clean. If your are in the mood for some breakfast food, get the oatmeal if you want to go basic, or step it up a notch and get their breakfast sandwich, which can be a wrap if you desire. I believe these items are available all day. The only thing I wish was different was that the hours were until 9 or 10 at night. read more

Staff is always very friendly and 95% of the time the coffee is great. I will say that there are some staff that just seem to make better lattes than others though. I come here on a very regular basis and no one has ever made a bad drink, but there have been times when i've ordered a flavored latte that has either seemed too sweet or not enough espresso.The food is really good but a little expensive. I love our local Dunn Brothers! We are regular visitors and knowing the beans are roasted onsite/fresh we also buy whole bean coffee from here as well for home brew. As much as I am a fan, I do need to keep it real. the Yelp page states this is a good place to work, which would be true if your work does not consist of needing to be connected to in the internet. SO MUCH DROPPED CONNECTIONS! I have complained and I know others have as well because the excellent staff agrees and says they will let the owner know... it has been a long time, I went there a week or so ago to sip some of my favorite brew while I work. at most I stayed connected for an hour, at its worst I was getting dropped from the router every other minute. I cannot speak for all teleworkers but I have telecommuted for years and years, I make a habit of changing my scenery often but I will not go back to this Dunn Brothers until I know the WIFI is fixed. Too bad too, I LOVE the staff even more than I love the coffee and food available. This could easily be a 5-star review, if only I could work there. read more

Great local coffee shop! I frequent this Dunn Bros always finding a pleasant and helpful staff. I also buy their beans by the pound for use at home. Just recently we had an open house at our home and received multiple compliments on our coffee. I have to pass the compliments on to the roasters at this Dunn Bros. Also, I have had some of their sandwiches at lunch and I have to be honest, surprised me how good they were. Very happy to have this shop in our neighborhood! read more
