The latter is for the ones who live in Longueuil, where they delivered directly from Bomboloni Boss. However, my blood pressure will ask me to cool off after eating this Italian dessert. The place is beautiful decorated with cakes, desserts, and candies of all sorts. For the ones with a sweet tooth, you can find some creative things. The kids are offered workshops in the period of the year where the kids can make their own small version of their cake. What about customer service? It is courteous and quite fast.

From across the street I could see a line up outside this pastry shop and told myself... They offer a great selection but my visit had a sole purpose... croissants! The line, although long was moving quickly and I placed my order. A short walk later I was back at the house and time to break out the goods. My cousin and I both have a weakness for cross ants and this was croissant heaven!!! Even for a Montreal resident like my cousin. Crispy outside, melt in your mouth layers of buttery dough on the inside... Dipped in coffee or with peach jam, I just couldn't help myself. What was to be a light breakfast and croissants for the road ahead turned into somewhat of an over indulgence! Plus my cousin was so happy to fry the croissants from this place as she had never been! The texture and flavor of this is something I've never had before. The coffee flavor is strong but not offensively strong. Even if you're not a fan of coffee I'd still suggest you try it. The affogato was lovely with the espresso and gelato mixing it creates that lovely icy texture on the outside. It is more pricey so I'd say the safe crema is the way to go.

Panic mode. Thankfully, this place saved the day with its warm and inviting ambiance. We grabbed coffees and croissants, and the owner was quick and efficient, getting us sorted in no time. Even at that ungodly hour, there were already two locals and a dog chatting with the patron--always a good sign of a neighborhood favorite. Can't complain at all. I'm in Vieux Montreal for a few more days and will definitely be back.
