I noticed my cleaners missing things and being slow as well as having subpar equipment which is again usually the owners scrimping. I have experience in this sort of business and I typically "pre" clean my home for cleaners; removing rugs, dusting delicate fragile items, removing clutter, getting things off the floor, having everyone out of the home so they aren't in the way, cranking the air & offering water. I still tipped well and offered refreshments but I have to move on to someone likely more independent that will work hard for what I pay because for $600 my house should be spotless. No shade to the workers, they are simply working at the rate in which they are being compensated.
