The approach felt overly aggressive rather than careful. I experienced significant sedation and had a fall during the night. When I contacted the doctor afterward because I felt worse, I was told that my "body is sensitive," which felt more like an excuse than a thoughtful explanation. I was ultimately advised to slow everything down, which is what I had suggested from the beginning. Psychiatry should not be a one-size-fits-all practice.
