I looked through a box of chargers and found the exact one I needed. I was stoked. When Shawn went to ring it up, it was $65. Are you kidding me? This charger goes for $32 brand new on the Lenovo website! I asked if he could do anything about the price and he said he'd have to talk to his manager. He went behind a wall, to talk with some woman who's head I could see the top of through a window, and they talked a bit. He came back, essentially said that it was a lot more expensive than he expected too but the owner is firm on pricing. I thanked him for his help and left. I have no problem with Shawn, he was just doing his job. But the lady behind the wall and the owner? Are you serious? How do you justify selling a used laptop charger for twice the price of it brand new? Why did you not come talk to my face instead of making Shawn, who already has a queue of phone screens to fix, run around your store? The worst part is, people have to pay these prices because it is a small town and there's nowhere else to go. Here I am trying to support local businesses and being forced to buy from the colossal corporate dome that is Bezos' shaved head. Absolutely ridiculous.
