I used to frequent a dispensary on the north side of town, I was downtown for dinner and noticed the late hours they offer and decided to stop in. I liked the feel of this dispensary, welcoming and an open bud room that doesn't make you feel like you are trapped or in a confined space. A nice selection of Edibles, Concentrates and Bud. Large variety of Sativa and Indica, id say about 9-12 of each, as well as CBD options. I was mostly shopping for flower and picked up a couple grams. Went home and after smoking knew immediately I wouldn't be back to my usually dispensary. The amount of bud you have to smoke to get high compared to other places is minuscule, one or two hits out of a bowl is like an entire bowl of what I was smoking. I visited the Durango Rec Room for the first time yesterday. I was so pleased a young man opened the door for me. He was so pleasant and friendly and he even asked what I might be looking for and made suggestions. The young woman at the counter treated me like a good friend, so helpful and didn't mind an older person asking questions. She was patient and she really knew what she was talking about. The selection was amazing. The ambiance of the store was very comfortable. This was a fun experience. I will come back. I flew into Durango with friends for a journey to the Four Corners and Monument Valley. I stopped into the Rec Room to get a few items for our getawa. Carlos helped me out with some gummies and a few pre-rolls (including solventless hash-infuse). THE best pre-rolled I've had in a long time. exactly how Carlos described, packaged in a beautiful tin. highly recommend! stop in. u will need to show ID before you go up the stairs, but I found that I could ask any questions, got my answers, and there were no judgments made about my dumbass questions. definitely will go back! I don't usually leave reviews, but as a concentrate heavy user I've started taking my business here for the past year or so and I am rarely, if ever, disappointed with any product I've purchased from here. Prices are better here, if not comparable to other places here in town, but for the money the quality/selection is superior to other chains. Hands down. I recently came and visited The Rec Room and was absolutely shocked by their low prices on their ounces. I use marijuana products on the regular, and their ounce called "Sour Patch Kids" will forever be one of the best strains I've tried in my life! No joking here!
