For example, I was reading an article about a Dr. Thomas LeGrow who works with patients with spinal issues at Durham Regional Spine Center uses a Zero Gravity decompression table to not only relieve, but heal the pain of varying spinal issues. I thought of a relative who might qualify for this type of procedure in lieu of surgery. There are several other articles ranging from preventative health to maintaining excellent oral hygiene. There are 40,000 plus copies of the paper distributed in medical offices, major shopping areas, libraries, bookstores and health food stores to mention a few. So pick up one and keep healthy!

On the air since 1977, they play an incredibly wide range of music, with a special focus on local artists. Every day from 5-9 pm they give away tickets for shows at local venues, which is a great opportunity to explore Chapel Hill's music scene. As far as programming goes, I love the Thursday Night Feature, where the DJ picks a theme and then chooses the songs that fit that theme (e.g., 3 hours of songs about rainbows, or whatever). The only downside to WXYC is that with that much focus on diverse programming and music, there are certain times of day that they just don't play any songs I like. Nine times out of ten I like what I hear, but then again I've also flipped over when they were playing what sounded like 15 straight minutes of windchimes.

The Reporters are Factual without adding a layer of political bias. There appears to be a true camaraderie that helps alleviate some of the pain felt when they must present some of the recent horrible current events... Channel 11 Management --you are doing a good job picking good people . NOW--if you could only entice Brian Mims to your staff (since that he has just left WRAL ). That would add a layer of joy in local story -telling that I think you are missing ( I do not know Brian Mims--just have seen him on another local station) . Channel 11would go from an " A" to an " A+" Station The News these days is so often presented in a Sensationalized format . I think Ch11, WTVD is trying to avoid that common News Station trait --and it's greatly appreciated 5 Stars --well deserved .

When John Clark (the GOAT) left, and when the lovely Barbara Gibbs moved, you made some changes that have become a thorn in our flesh. It's about the Morning News and WEATHER. Joel Brown, although married now, is clearly infatuated with your Mardi Gras addition. He turns his back to Anna almost every segment and indulges the weather person. At times, they seem to hate on precious Anna by giving snide, sarcastic remarks to Anna. Here's the main point. The news in the morning is "classy", yet the weather in the morning is "trashy". Not trying to be mean, but that Louisiana news woman dresses like a street walker most of the time. And she has shown herself to be a "mean girl", although she sometimes speak like she is partly religious. Her body language and her comments to Anna make her appear jealous of Anna because Anna is naturally beautiful inside and out - not forced - natural. And sometimes KM turns almost completely around showing her backside in her super tight apparel (as if on purpose). Let me also add that KM is extremely good at what she does. She knows her stuff. As a prior Military Police Investigator and local Law Enforcement Officer who literally taught the class on "Verbal and Nonverbal Communication", I don't like what I see. Weather was never so sexually provocative and distasteful before KM joined the team. Just a bit too much while wearing that plastic smile. KM, I am sure, is a nice young lady deep down inside. But fishnet stockings, boots up to the thighs, high cut splits in short skirts, red and black swirls on her dress (looks occultic/demonic)... I could go on but I will stop here.
