I couldn't be happier with our experience with Rachelle. The photos of my newborn daughter are stunning, and I mean ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Additionally, she was accommodating to our every request. I asked for a specific pose to match my son's newborn photos (taken by a different photographer when we lived out of state), and she nailed it perfectly. She recently completed my family photos for Christmas 2016 and I couldn't be happier. We have four kids, one of which has special needs. Julia takes the time to demonstrate patience for all as well as comedic relief with our young boys when their attention wandered. She is great with families and animals alike, which shows in the quality of her work. On one occasion I had the opportunity to sit in her studio and pick photos for a leather bound book creation I was gifting. I saw how much detail she goes in to when editing out a slight flaw on my skin or a back wrinkle that I personally didn't like in a specific photo. This kind of editing takes a lot of time and skill. I appreciate this effort when I receive my photos and my skin looks flawless. The leather bound book was high quality and the pages were laid out well. Occasionally Julia has other professionals shoot large events with her to capture more angles and moments. However, Julia is the only person that edits the final version of the photographs she delivers to you. When you consider how many events she is doing, the families she sees in and out of the studio, and on top of that she is hand editing every photo she provides you, it takes time. Communication is important. Express your expectations up front. If there is something you are unsure of through the process, let her know. She has always been reasonable with us and when we communicate better there are no surprises. With that being said, I will continue to hire Julia to be my family's personal paparazzi.
