After visiting we learned that the owner started this coffeehouse/bakery/art gallery as a place her son (with special needs) could work after high school. Moxi hires individuals with special needs to work as baristas and bakers. What an awesome concept! As someone who used to work with individuals with special needs, finding employment after high school was over was one of the biggest obstacles - this is the kind of business we need to see more of! They have delicious looking treats and lots of seating upstairs and down. Fun rockers adorn the front porch that invites you to come an stay awhile. I included a photo just as it was served to me for your consideration. The Mexican joint less than a 1/2 mile away serves up fantastic 1/2lb. breakfast burritos for just a couple bucks more.
