I recently moved to the area and had Dutch girls clean my husbands suit and a cashmere sweater of mine that I got pomegranate stains on. They did it very quickly and they got all the splatters out off my sweater! Very happy with that. Will keep going back and hope they don't lose any of my clothes. Someone mentioned a tag being stapled on their clothes, well they use pins now so it's much easier to remove. The new owners have jacked up the prices to unreasonable amounts. I have been a Dutch Girl customer for over 30 years. The last time I took a particular comforter to be washed there, WASHED, not dry cleaned, they charged me $15.00. Today the charge was $30.00. That's the last time I'll ever go there. read more

I'm a contract welder and travel for work. I'm typically in one place for 3-4 months at a time so I try to scout out a good cleaners. After doing some research I figured I'd give this place a try. I loved it. They seem to do everything is house. Reminds me of the way things used to be done. I always dropped off and picked up every Friday but they always told me I could pick up at the end of the same day. That's phenomenal. I'm currently in a small town in Nebraska wishing there were more places like Dutch Girl Cleaners near me. Definitely a hidden gem of Canton, OH. Fast turn around, great job, and reasonably priced. I was very pleased with Dutch Girl. They did a quality job on my shirts and slacks. The only complaint is they stapled the laundry tags through my cloths, although in an inconspicuous location. The service makes this place great. You just drive up and there are two sliding doors where the staff immediately comes out to help you for drop off or pickup. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Summary, On 9/3/16, I was charged for a pre-paid dry -cleaning transaction (Erika-employee) for 6 items in the amount of $23.98. That transaction was approved and signed. Items picked up on 9/7/16. Please note that the credit card machine is not at the counter, and that only employees have access and control of the credit card machine. On 9/10/16 I received the BJ's Master Card statement showing 2 separate charges from Dutch Girl Cleaner's with identical charges for $23.98. Dutch Girl was contacted 9/16/16. The attendant (male) was informed of the double-billing at which time he verbally notified Erika, while we were listening. Erika commented that it was our fault and that we double-paid. Linda (owner) returned call 9/17/16 assuring that the charges would be corrected and to re-contact her in 10 days if charges were not reversed. Customer service quality and billing issue were discussed. Message was left 9/24/16 for Linda informing her that no modifications had occurred with MasterCard account and for her to return my call knowing that she would be in Sunday am. Received voicemail 9/26/16 am that in order for this to be corrected she now needs a copy of the credit card statement. Drove to Dutch Girl at 9/26/16. Presented statement, receipt, and credit card to Erika. Provided a solution for customer resolution and satisfaction. 1-reimburse with cash or 2-immediately credit the credit card for $23.98. Erika needed Linda's approval. Linda was contacted by phone- she refused and asked why this could not wait till the next morning. 9/27/16 Linda called to inform me that she went to her "bank" and was unable to verify 2 charges of $23.98 therefore would not correct the mistake. Never have I encountered a business that would not immediately correct an erroneous billing issue. If you are at a grocery store and they double count an item, that is fixed immediately. Most stores will credit the credit card or give you cash. Nooooo not Dutch Girl Cleaners, they would rather steal your money for services not rendered!!!! read more

Not only are they great dry cleaners, but they do a fantastic job at minor clothing repairs like fixing zippers on denim, fixing hems that have come undone and fixing holes in the interior pockets of coats. I highly recommend this business! read more

Loose yourclothes and give u the wrong items back. I left for poor customer service. Lost pants lost shirts stains left in.

I used Dutch girls for years, dropping off 20+ items a month. One group of shirts I dropped off when I picked them up had holes all over them. Dropped them off and the girl asked if I wanted the re washed.....a no you ruined my shirts. Manager called the next day to inform me it was my fault and I must have had chemicals on them. (Working at a desk all day highly unlikely) Needless to say I will not be going back. Thanks for ruining $180 worth of clothing and blaming it on me. Also looking at the review below mine. They have grown since then and even have drop off and pick up windows so you don't need to leave your car. This is a really advantageous perk. read more

DESPERATE to find a better dry cleaner's than Picasso in North Canton, I gave Dutch Girl a shot. So far, I am very happy. I have sent several people here away from Picasso and they remarked at the improved care of their clothes. The service is much friendlier here and you can't beat the curbside drop off! They even give you a discount for pre-paying the bill! I have heard Picasso and Dutch Girl are owned by the same family, but they seem worlds apart. Don't believe me? Brought pants to get fixed charged me 45 dollars, got a call saying they couldn't be fixed and to come get my money back and only gave me 20 of the 45 they charged me!
