I bought 5 Husqvarna safety glasses from them online. They shipped the glasses to me in a padded envelope. How stupid is that? Of course they arrived totally crushed. (see picture) Although the package was crushed, the glasses appeared to be ok. However, 2 of the 5 glasses were not in their original packaging. They were loose with no package at all. (see picture) I asked Dutchmans if I could return the 2 opened glasses for a refund and even offered to pay for the return shipping. They said no. Unbelievable. After going back and fourth with them I ended up filing a claim with my credit card company. They found in my favor and I was given a full refund. read more

After weeks of research, I found Dutchman's to buy my new mower. They advertised price was as low as any advertised, best of all they had it in stock, one of the most accurate dealer webpages, all the others almost seem like scams advertising a low price but never have it in stock once you contact them. Took our equipment in for service for a broken belt because they are an authorized Husqvarna shop. When it came back, it looked good on the outside & they fixed/repaired the main issue (& other small things) but it didn't work the same as before we took it in; the settings were not the same. So we went back a second time. They found another broken component that should've been identified with the first look, & implied that we broke it. They fixed it, but the settings were still not operable, so we went back a third time. The shop is only 15 miles away, but with the on-going electrical work & debris clearing, it takes an hour each way to get to the shop. The manager was a bit snarky when I mentioned that this was our 3rd trip here & it taking over an hour, by saying, "Maybe you should find a shop that is closer." If we had a closer place, we would be there, buddy! After this final trip, they made some adjustments & our equipment is about 75% operable; but some settings no longer function. We don't plan on going back for servicing any of our equipment. They do a great job selling, but fall short with the service department, and I'll drive farther if it means the equipment is fixed & operable upon return. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Stay away from this business. I took my mower to have service when it was experiencing some extreme vibration and throttle trouble. I SPECIFICALLY asked for them to ONLY do repairs that were covered by the warranty and to call me before anything else as I was on a tight budget. I was willing to pay the $35 diagnostic fee, but would try to cover anything else myself. I even specifically mentioned replacement blades. Over a week later when I haven't heard anything, I had to call them for an update. I'm told my bill is over $70 which took me by surprise. When I went to pick up my mower, I discovered they had replaced my blades WITHOUT contacting me and were charging me for the blades and labor. When I asked why I wasn't contacted and they didn't do what I asked, the salesman blew the question off; said if I bring a machine in for repair I should expect to pay for repairs. I told him I was extremely disappointed and that I EXPEXT a business to do as I ask. Also told him I would have a very hard time coming back to do business there, and he told me that's fine that I wasn't worth their business. Several months later I found I could file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to try and get an honest solution as Dutchman's had clearly been dishonest with me. After filing the complaint, their only response was "Dutchman's considers this matter closed as of the transaction date, do not contact again". Not only are they dishonest in their business practices, they won't admit when they've deceived a customer nor will they try to make it right in the interest of customer satisfaction. Save yourself a major headache, save yourself from being insulted that you're not worth their business, and save your wallet: stay away from Dutchman's. read more
