The owner of this business has zero integrity. I posted a thorough review of my experience back in 2020 and it was removed. Having a review removed because it doesn't favor your business but tells the truth about how you do business isn't integral. This man came to our home, spoke over me, lied to us, and when I called him out on him, threatened to sue us and take away our home. read more

Scott's crew did an amazing job at our new home. He was very communicative through out the entire process. He sent 4 people to my home (2500sqft) and they had it trimmed, painted and cleaned up in 3.5 days. Something that would have taken me weeks! His crew was super nice and checked in with me the whole time. I'm sure I was underfoot the whole time peaking in rooms they were working in, but they didn't seem to mind. I would absolutely hire him for any additional painting jobs. I know the photo isn't much but he repainted our house from dark gray to light gray. read more

Scott and his crew did a fantastic job painting our house (exterior). It was a big job and they did not cut corners despite extra prep work required. They also pulled vines off the columns sanded them beautifully when other painters had just left the vines and not painted. They even repaired large areas of dry rot on the column bases w/o being asked. They were efficient, tidy and very courteous. I recommend them to anyone and will definitely call them back for some interior work. read more

We just had the exterior of our home painted by Scott and his crew. Scott was extremely professional and just plain fun to talk to. His crew did an amazing job. Scott was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns and managed to have the whole project done while we were on vacation. Our house looked like a brand new home when we returned. Maybe under constant supervision would do okay. Just make sure you tell them to take off the switch plates instead of painting over them, ask them to put drop cloths down so they don't get paint all over everything and explain to them that the paint should stay on the wall and not go half on the woodwork! High rates for the poor job that is done! Owner says he isn't a babysitter! read more

I don't know what this other reviewer is talking about. Duvall painters were professional, fast, and courteous. The work they did on my house was top notch! Scott and his team helped my husband and I out of a sticky situation. We were running out of time before needing to move into our new home. We had multiple quotes from other painting companies that were outrageous. Duvall Painting came to the rescue and painted the entire house without any mistakes in no time. Bauer Roofing is a well oiled machine. They are tight like band that's been playing together for years. Making an appointment at noon on Friday to the initial consultation happening that same Friday afternoon same day to the choices of materials and wide array of services offered. They have all the top names and best quality products. You can't go wrong. They have access to a great finance program that beats the others. Pricing is competitive, all staff are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable and the end result for us was much better than I ever thought was achievable. The owner even came to check in on us Saturday morning. The job was planned, started, and finished quicker than anticipated and distractions were minimal. We enjoyed watching the work being done. Scott Sr, his brothers and his crews are the best in Columbia and everyone in town familiar with painting knows it. They have been top ranked in the whole state of South Carolina for 6 years. They have saved me on many occasions thru the years On my property flips. FYI, I noticed this woman aboves review. She and her husband are new in town but she is already known for harassing businesses by several businesses on social media like google and Twitter where you can go for yourself and see. There should be a website for contractors to post dangerous and abusive home owners. This new culture of slandering hard working companies online with the only recourse being lawsuits should be countered socially as well. I can tell you now, just like all his other customers have online, Scott and his family run the best business in town. Yelp should be ashamed for allowing such hate on their platform. It's just too much and it's slanderous rhetoric that can't be proven. read more

Upon initial walk-through, I was skeptical b/c Scott provided us an ETA for completion of only 3 days. He also had a competitive estimate. Our home is 3,900 square feet with an additional unfinished 580 sq ft FROG (which he was painting the ceiling). We asked for ALL walls (except two bedrooms) to be painted, and master bath ceiling. Scott later mentioned some walls (based on current color) would require 3 coats of paint (which was not common in most houses where 2 suffice, and he later showed me why so I was comfortable with the additional material costs). Also, he was painting portions of our kitchen cabinets from Dark Green to White. Again...3 Days???? But, sure enough...his team kicked serious butt and completed the entire house in 3 days. They prepped the walls, repaired dents/dings/nail pops/loose base boards, repaired caulk around trim, and painted. The finished product looked amazing. I highly recommend his services!
