What do you mean, your provider couldn't address your sniffles, your back pain, your anxiety, your triglycerides, AND your palpitations at your annual physical? The nerve! I love my primary care provider, Cheryl Hutchinson. She is professional, pleasant, and timely. She listens, and she is collaborative. And I have never run into an issue with their clinical or administrative staff.

My mother is 72 and was very sick and could not get a timely outpatient appointment here. She ended up in the hospital for several days with pneumonia/flu. Upon discharge, a follow up appointment was scheduled by hosptial staff and listed on her discharge sheet. When my mother called to confirm, they had no record of the appointment and could not get her in to see her regular doctor for a follow up visit until 11 days after hospital discharge. This is not acceptable. She is also placed on hold for a long time each time she calls before being able to speak with someone. She will stick around because she loves her doctor but hoping the practice is able to improve their processes.

Despite those assurances, it took 11 days for my prescription to actually be refilled, creating unnecessary stress and inconvenience. The issues continued when I had a physical appointment scheduled, only for the office to cancel it the day of and reschedule me with a new provider. That provider then canceled the appointment the day before it was supposed to happen. The final incident was especially concerning. I brought my 8-year-old son to the walk-in clinic one evening, and despite there being no patients waiting, we were refused care because the office claimed I had transferred his care elsewhere. This was confusing and frustrating, especially since my entire family had been patients at this practice. Healthcare requires trust, communication, and reliability. Unfortunately, after these repeated experiences, we no longer feel confident continuing care here and will be transferring our entire family to another practice.
