He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions.
