I'm glad it was moved because I got to check out Lindenwood Park Place. LPP is a neighborhood social club that my friends just joined. It's in a former church, Immanuel Congregational Church. This church made good use of its vertical space (it doesn't have a big geographical footprint) but it had 3 floors of that are now pretty different from what it must have been like 100 years ago. The former sanctuary is now the party room on the 3rd floor. This area has plenty of room for tables and chairs, a stage, and a virtual golf area. The stage, which is the former altar area, has been stripped of the religious stuff and when I was there it featured a table with 4 leather chairs that had a comical amount of give. The 2nd floor has a Dungeon + Dragons room (Scallywag's Hollow) and a moody-looking library. The lowest level has a pickleball court and probably other sports opportunities going on that I didn't notice. Oh, and the branding is Monopoly-esque. I like that!

It'd been restored nicely and the ballroom is stunning. The chandeliers are beautiful and make it feel so fancy, it was the perfect spot for an event like this one. The food was remarkable- tons of food stations (loved the carving station and the sushi), and the drinks were made well. It was a special night out; this is an awesome spot to have an event at.

It's a small and humble park with some great features like a dog park and plenty of open grass/space. The one thing you seems to be lacking is much shade. I'm a big fan of parks with shade features or a canopy of trees. I loved seeing some volunteers there planting flowers during our visit. They have a few benches and a playscape that accommodates a wide range of ages.

Known for being the host site of the 1904 World's Fair, this free park is a massive green space that is open to the public and includes walking trails, fountains, the Missouri History Museum, the St. Louis Zoo, and the St. Louis Art Museum. You'll see visitors from out of town and locals as well. If you have a half-day to explore the city, it's well worth including this park on your sightseeing itinerary!
