I did the 8am tour to Muir Woods that stopped in Sausalito. I'm so happy I got to see Muir Woods, it is really awe inspiring. It was nice to see it with the tour too and not have to worry about makes a reservation there. We promptly left at 8am. And the tour shop does have a small bathroom which is nice to use before you leave. Barry was a great tour guide, he loved taking pictures of everyone and knows a lot about San Francisco. We got out of the bus twice to take pictures on the way to Muir Woods. They were great picture stops and we head nice weather to pose in front of Golden Gate Bridge. Even though I've been to SF 5 times I still loved this tour. I've been to Sausalito before and could have skipped that, there is not much to do in that town besides eat something and look at the bay. Muir Woods is the real gem. We had only 1 hour and 15 min to explore on our own. I was alone so I walked fast and think I got to see more than most in that time. I would have liked more time there. You can add on Alcatraz and the bus drops you off there, or he can drop you at fisherman's wharf or back at the tour shop. Highly suggest this tour company! Very friendly, on time and knowledgeable!

When I booked, I booked for a different time, but unfortunately the tour guide for that tour got sick, so the company called me & texted me with options, and I chose to go on the Famous Tour at 8am. I was told that tey hoped I liked chocolate! We met at the white Gazebo, and boarded the bus. While we drove around the different neighborhoods, our guide, Patrick loaded us on board and took us theough the very beautiful and unique neighborhoods of the city of San Francisco. Got to admit its a stunning city to be in the architecture is so different and dense. He rook us to the Golden Gate bridge and the fort that sits there, giving us a different perspective of the bridge. The water at that level and the sea layer gave the city a beautiful light. As we drove, Patrick asked trivia quearions about bands that recorded at this specific studio, and I'm not sure if I'm happy to say that I won about half of the chocolate on my own. The visit to Muir woods is a stand out part of the tour, as the wood is nothing short of primeval. The dew was still glistening in the spiderwebs while I walked through. The air there was the definition of cool, crisp and clean. It was nearly a spiritual experience being there, walking at my own pace. It felt reverent. After Muir, we stopped in Sausilito, for a walk about and lunch. While there i had delicious tacos and gellato. The view here is astounding. Was this tour worth the $129 ticket price? Yes it is! Worth every penny and more.

A few family pictures of the awesome views

Our tour guide was Trevor, who is a very proud 6th generation San Franciscan. The love he has for his city is evident. We had a private tour with our family of 5 (mom, dad, teenage son, 15, preteen daughter, 12, and youngest daughter, 9). We got to see so many incredible spots with expansive views of the city and bay. Trevor was accommodating to our requests for specific stops and was very knowledgeable about all areas of town we were in. We had a great day and will be returning to this beautiful place. Thank you Dylan and Trevor!

We booked a 30 minute tour: The Lombard Leap. Though short we were lucky in that we were the only family attending. So we got a private tour with Erin. Not only was our tour guide knowledgeable about many historical facts regarding the city but he made the tour fun. We made a stop at Coit tower and were able to walk around for a bit. I would recommend bringing warm clothing like a jacket as the tour van is open air.

Five of us did a six hour private tour of San Francisco while our cruise ship was in port. Our driver Pur was excellent in customizing our experience. The tour was exactly what we requested and even included a few bonus stops. The trip was pricey, but a bargain compared to the ship's options. We saved money at Muir Woods by using a senior citizen National parks membership card. We chose to walk and lunch in Sausalito while our driver waited for our text to rejoin us. Yes, I would recommend this company. The 9 passenger van was also quite comfortable. Thanks

We booked the tour to Muir Woods. Capitan Roger was our host for the day. We got a brief tour of San Francisco before and after the trip to Muir Woods. We also had lunch in Sausalito. Roger peppered the basic facts with fun information and even a few oddities. He has a wonderful personality, and he made the whole day better by being his delightful self.

Jake was awesome and super funny and informative. See bunch of places but enough time in most. Jake was more than willing to take pictures as needed and had awesome food recommendations from around the city. Jake also played some great music.. Drove by China town Drove across the Golden Gate Bridge Stopped in Mir Woods if you being military ID to the mir wood you get three people in with you. The taqueria in Salselito had great food and cocktails. We ended on pier 33 to get on the boat to go to Alcatraz

This was my second time going on Dylan's Tours - and it was ever better than the first time. My friend (who had never been to SF) and I did the 48 hrs in SF two days package -- one day seeing the City, Muir Woods, Sausalito and Alcatraz and the second off to Napa & Sonoma for a Wine Tasting Tour. Both were awesome - Patrick was our city tour guide and I loved his energy, knowledge and interesting tidbits along with taking pictures for everyone at key locations. Jeffrey was our wine tour guide and Patrick had told us we'd love him - and we did! He was funny, and answered everyone's questions, offered advice and made our group bond together throughout the day. It is clear the guides really care about ensuring everyone has a great experience - I never felt as if I couldn't ask a question - and learned so much about SF and surrounds. I highly recommend Dylan's Tours to anyone who wants to get an insider's peek at life in SF!

Yosemite Mothers day trip life long memories and great shots thanks to Dylan's Tours and Andy!

Best to download the app to follow when the bus will arrive mostly correct. We were in the 5pm bus and it was chaotic because we had to switch buses and it was crammed. It's misleading to say the pass is valid 24 hours because if you start at 10am, you are done at 5pm and can't use it again. I miss the live narration and at least a welcome from the driver. Our first driver at least was friendly and even came upstairs to tell us what was going on with the 10 minute break at the GG bridge and the rest stop at Fisherman's Wharf. My tour guide was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and full of fun facts, local tips, and recommendations that made the experience even better. I also loved that the group was small (about 8 people in the van), which made it easy to ask questions and actually see everything without feeling crowded. The three photo stops are short, but they're at excellent viewpoints and perfect for getting some Instagram-worthy pictures. As a solo traveler, I honestly can't recommend this tour enough. You get an incredible amount of value for the price, and it's a great way to get your bearings before exploring the city on your own. I'd recommend keeping notes of the places and recommendations your guide mentions so you can revisit them later. One thing that really stood out was the customer service. My original booking didn't meet the minimum group size, so I was moved to a different tour. Unfortunately, that caused me to arrive late, but the guide was incredibly gracious and made me feel welcome without any hassle. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or as a family, I'd absolutely recommend this tour. It's one of the best ways to kick off a trip to San Francisco.

Of all our preparations for this California trip, the best decision we could have ever made was scheduling the private tour of Yosemite/Lake Tahoe with Yosemite Private Tours. Dare we have the audacity to book a 4-day private tour with someone we don't know? Those anxieties were quickly put to rest moments after meeting our phenomenal guide, Brandon Brown. Immediately impressed by his kind and gregarious personality, we felt a connection that ultimately grew into a lasting friendship. During the Tour of Yosemite/Lake Tahoe's granite cliffs, meadows, falls, valleys and mountain lakes, such as Bridal Veil Falls, Cathedral Peak, Half Dome, Sentinel Dome, Mariposa Grove, Giant Sequoias, and the Donner Pass, Brandon's knowledge and explanation of the history and wonders of God's Creation was astounding. His expertise in photography, as noted in the attached photos, was assuredly an added bonus. We were further amazed at his attention to detail and his lickety-split service in checking us in at each park, hotel, restaurant, and even his conscientious concern that we had clean restrooms! After the first day, we felt secure and relaxed knowing our safety and comfort were never in doubt. Little did we anticipate that at the tour's completion, we would have shared such a life changing experience, which would not have been possible without Brandon. We are excited about the future and the possibility of an even more stellar adventure touring with Brandon and Yosemite Private Tours.

Umbrella Bus barely got our passengers from Point A to Point B, did not do so efficiently, and arguably didn't do it terribly safely. We booked Umbrella for a 54-passenger shuttle to transport wedding guests from our wedding hotel to our ceremony venue, and then from the ceremony venue to the reception venue ($1050 total). I confirmed this itinerary with their staff by email and phone several times (at least three), because they kept sending me invoices that only showed a partial itinerary, but they assured me that they had the correct itinerary written down and would read off the correct itinerary on the phone when I called. On the first trip, the bus driver got the bottom of the bus stuck on a steep hill, rendering it unable to move. Guests had to walk nearly a quarter mile from where the bus got stuck to the ceremony site. The bus was also blocking the entrance to the park where the ceremony was held, meaning that park visitors and several wedding guests who were behind it were severely delayed in getting into the park. We had a couple of guests who missed some of the wedding ceremony because the bus blocked the entrance for so long. It would've been 3.5 stars if only for this, since it wasn't 100% the driver's fault, though he should really have known what the buses he drives are able to handle. On the second trip, though, despite me confirming the destinations in the itinerary with Umbrella MULTIPLE TIMES, the driver had somehow been given the wrong destination by their dispatch, and took guests back to the hotel instead of to the wedding reception venue. My family members had to argue with the driver, who insisted that he'd been told to take everyone back to the hotel, and "I'm only doing two trips, how will people get back to the hotel?" but he eventually relented and took everyone to the reception instead, but meant that most of the guests were delayed by quite a bit in getting to the reception. This definitely wasn't the driver's fault though, and was clearly the fault of the company/dispatch. He did eventually take the guests where they needed to go, which we appreciate.

The drivers were entertaining and the route took us through beautiful neighborhoods and many of the tourists attractions, Fisherman's Wharf, Nob Hill, Union Square, Financial district, Chinatown, North Beach, Telegraph Hill, Ferry Building, Embarcadaro Center, cable car turn-around, Grace Cathedral, Barbary Coast, Lombard Street, and along the waterfront. This tour did not stop at many places but is reflected in the price. (The more stops, the more expensive the trip.) The places it stopped was Pier 41 1/2, Union Square (Chinatown), The Embarcadero Center and North Beach. There is also a longer loop (about 3 hours) which takes you to the Golden Gate Bridge and around the Presidio. You really can't beat the tour for the price. If you are showing older people around the city or those who are not use to walking. It was also great to hear about the history of the city as we went along. The cable car was a cute touch.
