I walked in to a busy working shop. some people were working on arrangements in the back of the brightly lit, nicely smelling shop. The gal working the front seemed like she didn't want to be there, but was nice enough. I picked out a nice arrangement pretty quick. When I brought it to the counter I noticed a couple of the roses were dying fast. She said they could replace them with new ones. That seemed extra nice of them and I was much obliged. I got one of the free cards and they let me write a little something on it. They arranged the vase inside a box with tissue paper so it wouldn't tip out and I was on my way. This was one of the most disrespectful and uncomfortable customer service experiences I've had in a…read morelong time. From the moment I walked in, it was clear I was not welcome. The staff member acted annoyed by my presence, offered no genuine help, and very quickly began speaking to me in a condescending and dismissive manner. When I asked reasonable questions about the pricing -- which was extremely high -- I was treated as if I couldn't afford it and as if my questions were a waste of her time. If you're going to charge luxury prices, you should be able to explain the value behind them. I work with a wide range of clients, including high-profile individuals, and I understand premium pricing very well. What I don't accept is being talked down to or made to feel inferior for wanting clarity. Instead of professionalism, I got attitude, judgment, and blatant disrespect. The interaction was so uncomfortable that it made me seriously question whether I was being profiled based on my appearance or the color of my skin. I can't prove intent, but the treatment was undeniably dismissive and degrading -- something no customer should ever experience. This business clearly does not value all customers equally. If you don't fit whatever image they've decided is "worth their time," expect to be rushed, judged, and disrespected. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to take their money elsewhere.

Blooming in America is located in the Festival Marketplace of Pompano Beach. Its literally a booth storefront. But in that tiny space they have a ton of flower bouquets, plants, a few small flower arrangements, pots for plants etc. I was able to find the cutest flower arrangement which came in a small circular vase. My friend loved the flowers. This is close to my work and next time when I want something related to flowers I'll be back. The prices are really decent.
