I was in a rush to get my license and he went out of his way to accommodate my schedule for both the adult course and the road test. This could have been a good experience like the rest of the reviews but I just didn't enjoy it. 1. Calvin was extremely distracting for me. He didn't do much actual teaching but spoke a lot. For example I would get to a stop sign and he would basically do it for me and repeat him send telling me to go with out letting me even stop , look both ways, and then go. So he is not really patient. 2. He was extremely offensive. I have driving experience and wanted to just refresh my driving skills, but he really treated me like a slow person and made me very uneasy the whole time with his teaching style. Also when going to pay him I had technical difficulties and had a brand new account that led to more confusion for me. He said "Most young people don't have a problem with using things like this" as if I'm special Ed and just don't know what I'm doing when I was just having technical problems with my account. So yeah he talked to me like a slow person the whole time and was a little arrogant sometimes. Luckily I had sense enough not to put more money into this because I went somewhere else and flourished and the instructor actually let me drive without the dramatics and as we went talked about the signs and explained the rules of the road and I experienced no pressure. He definitely is not for anyone with high anxiety or someone who wants to be told the actual rules of the road. read more
