Dynamic Sports is the absolute best place for physical therapy and I cannot say enough nice things about Jon (and Pete) and the practice! I saw Jon after ACL surgery and in case you skip the rest of my review have had a really fast and impressive recovery and have Jon to thank. For a fairly serious surgery, there are very few checkpoints with your surgeon after and your recovery relies heavily on your PT. Jon is incredibly knowledgeable and I knew I could trust him to tell me what to do, when I was ready to incorporate new exercises (and when I shouldn't) and helped me set realistic expectations. He was careful, but also let me do things I was ready for not holding me back unnecessarily (some PT places told me I couldn't run for 6 months!). My speedy recovery alone would've been worth it, but if you are going to PT once or twice a week the environment helps! Jon and Pete are incredibly professional, but also set a very collegiate atmosphere and I found myself actually really enjoying coming to PT. My weddings was 6 months from surgery and at that point I danced in 4 inch heels for many many hours, went for a 5 mile run the day before and did not think about my knee once. Dynamic Sports was not the first PT place I tried (and was less conveniently located to my home and work) but it was a decision that I think not only had me back in action much more quickly, gave me peace of mind during my recovery process, but which will also impact the long term success of my surgery. read more

When I hurt my back and my doctor prescribed PT, I was very selective and did a lot of research and finally decided on Dynamic because they specialize in golf and sports injuries. My injury was due to years of sports and running so I gave it a shot. My first day I was met by the loveliest front desk staff, who were more than happy to help me get settled and feel at home. Being hurt is a humbling and sometimes scary reality, and they always made me feel taken care of. The facility itself if terrific. New wonderful weight machines, a treadmill and all the tools you could ever imagine. Big comfy massage tables, large windows with sunlight and a warm inviting feeling. Alan, my therapist introduced himself and we got started. From the very beginning I knew I was in good hands. Alan listened to my needs and read what my doctor sent me in with. He also gave me his opinion which I respected and listed to as well. We talked about my goals and then he walked me through a few initial exercises. Alan is beyond thorough in his knowledge of the body and incredibly calming in his energy and demeanor. For my exercises at home he drew me many diagrams so that I could have success between sessions. I went to PT for nine weeks and I am completely healed. I have Alan to thank for that. A couple of weeks ago I woke up with terrible vertigo. When I lifted my head I thought I was on a rollercoaster and not in my bed. It was pretty scary although it stopped after 30 seconds or so. But every time I lied down it came back. In no time I was at my doctor's office where I was diagnosed with BPPV, which stands for: Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo. The first word is the good news, benign, nothing too serious and so was the attitude of my doctor who calmly told me, it might go away in a few weeks or so. Well, that wasn't an option for me and I am glad I found Pete at Dynamic Sport Physical Therapy, who is a specialist in vestibular rehabilitation. The vertigo is caused by displaced chrystals in your inner ear and there is a procedure that will actually put them back in the place where they belong. Pete quickly checked, if I was indeed suffering from BPPV and then performed a quick and painless maneuver to reposition those crystals. Within minutes the vertigo disappeared and the next day, I felt as if I had never had it. Pete explained to me in detail what caused my problem and how he fixed it. It was an outstanding visit and I highly recommend to see Pete if you wake up one morning with your head spinning out of control. Thanks Pete. read more

BIG five stars for this place. my knee has been so much happier and well taken care of since i started going here. i had ACL/meniscus repair surgery last year and was originally going to another office, but i was underwhelmed by the subpar services and the results. i decided to switch to dynamic sports after a lot of research and i wish i had done it sooner! the one on one sessions are great. i've been working with alan ng to strengthen and rehab my knee. alan is really terrific-- he's patient, attentive, and very knowledgable. he adjusts each session to address my needs, challenging me when i feel stronger and being the voice of reason when i need to rest. alan is also a great listener and very supportive and encouraging. i really feel like he has my back in getting me stronger and having me return to playing at the level i want. besides alan, everything else about this place is super too. facilities are well maintained with lots of machines and weights. the rest of the staff is friendly. it's never been crowded when i've gone. there's clean lockers, changing rooms, showers, and towels. all good stuff. recovery has been a roller coaster for me, but i'm happy and thankful to be getting the proper care for my knee. read more

I've been to Dynamic Sports for many injuries including IT Band Syndrome, Plantar Fasciitis and a torn MCL, and Pete and Jon have been amazing at getting me back in shape. Most recently I saw Jon for rehab on a dislocated elbow from a skiing accident. I hadn't anticipated how difficult an injury this would be to recover from, but Jon got me back to full movement and no pain quickly. My orthopedist was very pleased with the rapid pace of my improvement and noted that I was weeks ahead of where he anticipated I'd be after just 6 weeks. Jon is very knowledgeable, gentle and caring. He knew my limits and yet challenged me to improve each session. He's fun to chat with and made every session as relaxing as he could. I really appreciated that whenever he had a cancellation or a chance to squeeze me into the schedule, he or the front desk team always reached out with availability. Several months ago, I was diagnosed with frozen shoulder. I began physical therapy with Jon at Dynamic Sports Physical Therapy. After reviewing notes from my orthopedist Jon asked what everyday activities I was unable to do. At that time, I was unable to accomplish motions needed to brush my teeth, comb my hair, grab a towel after showering or simply wiping the kitchen countertop using my right arm period. These are just a few of the activities I could not accomplish. Jon started me on a program of simple exercises that I could do at home on days that I did not have PT with him. After several weeks of following his direction and going for therapy, my condition improved dramatically and I am now able to accomplish all of my daily tasks comfortably. He listens each week to your status and tailors his treatment accordingly. His staff is polite and well organized, the facility is immaculate. These guys are great! I worked with Aaron to rehab my shoulder and could not be more pleased with the results. I've worked with a number of PTs in my time as a collegiate and recreational athlete, and Aaron was fantastic. He was very thorough in evaluating me beyond what my doctor's script simply said. He was supportive of my sport (CrossFit) even when most PTs are not and developed a plan and routine specific to my needs and interests. Appointments are effective 1-1 time with your PT, unlike other clinics where you may be passed off to an assistant who may not know what they are doing. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and effective in helping me return to my desired level of activity, and just a cool person. In addition, the facility is very clean, and never crowded. My orthopedic doctor recommended Dynamic Sports a few years ago when I had a back injury. He said Jon Diamond is the most talented Physical Therapist he knows. I have been to many different PTs; but, it was Jon that cured me with his one-on-one, unique and attentive approach. My experience at Dynamic Sports was great. Convenient location and a super friendly staff made this a great experience. The staff made all of the logistics easy on me, as opposed to most places who put the burden on the customer. Really expansive office hours which made making appointments really easy. I highly recommend Dynamic Sports PT. The office is very pleasant, clean, and EVERYONE there is friendly, courteous, and accommodating. I would like to specifically mention Alan NG who has been treating me for vertigo. I barely had any balance and went into a state of dizziness every time I moved my head before I began the therapy. It was a challenge to walk alone. Best physical therapy I've been to all around. Convenient hours (I had 7am appointments and they even had earlier slots). Patient and very competent team - I mostly worked with Alan who figured out exactly what was wrong, figured out a schedule for me that we had to tweak each time and gradually upgraded me when I got stronger. This injury was a high calf strain - i've previously had PT for a torn acl, meniscus and ankle issues with other PTs. Dynamic Sports has been the most focused on getting me back to playing sports. Iwa Crush is a knowledgeable, insightful, charismatic, and compassionate physical therapist. I first arrived at Dynamic Sports PT in November 2014 with radiating costochondritis (rib cage pain) from surfing and training. Now, in February 2015, my rib cage pain has definitely decreased both in intensity and frequency. Iwa's detailed approach of addressing each physical problem from the root (rather than just treating the symptoms) is not only beneficial but also restorative for the whole body. From the reception desk to the treatment table, my experience with Dynamic Sports was excellent. When I walked into Dynamic Sports, I was suffering from chronic chest/rib pain. I worked with Alan (Physical Therapist) and Mila (Acupuncturist), who not only completely resolved my pain within 2 months, but also gave me the tools I would need to keep it from returning. Alan's diagnosis, manual therapy, and exercise selection were superb, and Mila's mastery of acupuncture and explanations of trigger point therapy were both soothing and rapidly effective. My experience with DPT Bridget Dungan is nothing short of awesome. She is a true healer, with a magic touch and intuitive skills. Bridget treated my second rotator cuff tear, my knee meniscus tear, and my lumbar stenosis/herniation with such skill that I literally can feel the significant improvement after each session with her. The modalities that she used on me include Active Release Techniques(ART), trigger point therapy, and various myofascial release techniques. She believes in exercise as part of a therapeutic home exercise program. I highly recommend a professional practitioner such as Bridget with no reservations. read more

Eva was fantastic. I am an equestrian and needed very specific kinds of healing in order to ride effectively. Eva took the time to understand the sport and did some research on her own and came up with a program that really worked. Even my trainers noticed the difference. Plus if you have to spend 45 minutes with someone, Eva has a terrific manner and is a lovely and interesting person. Pete and Jon helped keep my healthy for the 2019 NYC Marathon.
