The owner Jason is a military vet and was super kind. He even gave me a military discount since I'm an Army Vet which was nice. The gym has everything you need from a small boxing area, trx/crossfit area and of course your traditional cardio machines and weight lifting equipment. It's really a great atmosphere to get an amazing working out in. I enjoy coming here because it doesn't get packed in the AM like other gyms and the best part is if you have any questions the staff is alway there to help you and point you in the right direct. If the owner Jason is there he will even come spot you which I've seen him do a numerous of times to different individuals working out. There's also lots of parking, so if your'e around the Hudson area of NH be sure to give AMC a visit if you're looking for a gym.

It's unpretentious. As someone who is curvy and wanted to go to the gym to improve my physique, I was initially very nervous about people staring at me or judging me for using the weights. I've gone to other, bigger gyms like PF and I always felt like everyone was looking down on me, and worse, I was fighting for equipment. Not at AFC. Everyone here is going to the gym to work on themselves, whatever that means for them. While of course you have many physically fit people here, there are also people of all ages, sizes, races, men, women, etc, each sharing a common purpose. I've never had a problem snagging equipment I needed or felt like I was in anyone's way. In fact, trainers and members alike have told me they've seen great improvement in me, which makes me feel so great. That's the benefit of a smaller gym - the people there remember you and root for you. I also love the boxing class. It's really popular here! I had never done boxing before and fell in love. It makes me feel powerful. Strong. And, best of all, disguises the workouts a bit! It's so much easier to work out when you're concentrating on pads and bags, and I end up burning 400-500 calories a session. Jason, and all the trainers, pay attention to your moves and help you improve your form. The classes are smaller too, usually around 10 people, so you can ask any questions you want and the trainers can pay attention to your form. If you're a nervous first-time gym goer like I was, or if you just moved here and are looking for a clean, community gym, this is the place.

I have paid for membership and years of training. I go to all four of there gyms but Nashua has the rudest and most unprofessional General Manager ( RICH ) I have ever met. I can't believe he is still employed. He argues in the open in front of customers and employees with you. He is arrogant and rude all the time. I have never seen him in a positive mood. I have had three conversations with him over the years. The first one I asked him a question about changing the station on the TV over 5 years ago and he rudely refused with an attitude. I was totally respectful when I asked and he always has a demeaning comment to make after you ask or suggest something. I did not argue with him but went to cancel my membership and one of the corporate members were there and talked me out of it. Second issue I had maybe three years ago I asked another question related to the steam room and again made a rude comment back to me and used the F bomb and said he did not F--- care about it. I reported him to corporate again and avoided the Nashua gym for two years and then finally went back as the other locations are further away and was hoping the company trained him to be more professional. Well I was wrong as today I made a suggestion to him and he again made a rude sly comment back to me instead of being professional and then escalated the situation into full blown argument in the lobby. Im sure it was embarrassing for the employees and customers but not for him as he did not care at all and when I said I am cancelling my long term membership he said I will gladly do it for you and I am not holding you hear. That's not how you keep customers or treat them. He should have asked me to meet him in private in his office and discussed this like professionals and adults instead of acting like a child and escalating the situation and not valuing a long term customer who has spent a lot of money and recruited over 20 other family and fiends who I will convinced to cancel also. So sad! He should be fired and I never want to get anyone fired but he does not deserve to hold this position if you can't compose yourself as manager.

The gym has every piece of top quality equipment you could possibly need for strength training and everything is in great condition. The gym is well laid out and there are never more than 5-10 people in the gym at once (many times I'm there alone). And you can't beat the 24/7/365 time open. The owner Paul is extremely friendly and even works out at the gym himself. He provides personal training at the gym and is extremely well informed when it comes to fitness. I understand why some of the classes more dedicated to seniors are midday, and I know there are some wealthy towns nearby where people may not have to work- but how about classes at a normal time of morning or evening? Not 5:00 am, but how about at 6:30-7:30? And then more classes that people who work 9-5 (or whose spouses do, in my case) can make? Very unusual encounter here…read more.. I am temporarily in the area and had been looking for a gym membership. A friend had suggested FitLab as it is smaller and typically not as busy as some of the larger gyms in the area. I was going to swing by and get a workout in / sign up, but decided to check their office hours online first. Online they were offering a 30 day free membership, so I figured I would sign up. Knowing I would likely have to pay something if I was only planning on getting a month membership. I quickly received a text from FitLab Hudson asking to schedule a time to come in. Since I was literally right down the street, I popped in. The woman who had texted me, Tara, was working the desk. I told her who I was and she replied with "oh but you didn't text me back.." in a rather off put tone, which took me back. Nonetheless, I don't know her and this could just be her demeanor, which is totally fine. I was there to workout so it's all good. I explained what I was looking for, a one month membership. She said the best she could do was a two month membership for $49/month. I told her that really wouldn't make any sense since I'd be paying for an extra month... She stared blankly back at me until I said "okay, I guess this isn't the gym for me. Thanks." lol... Having been to many small gyms in the past, I know that they are frequently more than willing to accommodate and meet your needs in exchange for your business. They also will often encourage you to get a workout in and see if you like the gym itself. Well not FitLab Hudson. I did have good luck at BestFit, which is only a few minutes away. They were very welcoming and accommodating people who appreciate your business.

I personally find them to be a good 1hr effort - not brutal, but definitely not "light", challenging enough to motivate and have you push through the level of effort you walked in the door expecting to exert. Coach Abby is my favorite; high-spirited, funky, and motivating. The workouts are diverse, and you work at your own pace; no egos in sight here. I have to say that the technology integration by far is my favorite aspect of OrangeTheory. My name on the screen with a live feed of my heart rate is a constant reminder to shorten my breaks and push it harder with every set. Take a look at my other reviews, me giving anyone a perfect 5 star rating is rare. I can't think of a single flaw I can point out with this gym. It is the cream of the crop of fitness gyms in Nashua.
