Clemmons Locksmithing - Garage door

Clemmons Locksmithing

So I needed a locksmith - Normally I ask a couple trusted friends who they use but no one had a…read moretrusted lock guy. I had a large project with 11 doors and needed new mechanisms and 8 dead bolts placed. I looked around online and all of these sites pop up that look like lead generation sites or some companies had sites that didn't load fully. I decided to check out Yelp and even that failed me with minimal reviews. But I came across an ad for a guy standing in front of his work van - local number on the side - so I called. Brad quoted me a price over the phone based on my description. He actually even made some suggestions on mechanisms he could swap out versus buying all new lock sets. He did all of this without knowing my name. I called him back a day later and He had me send him pictures of my doors and code on side of key. He texted back in forth with me on my options - cost difference for different quality and what he suggested. He does not up-charge the locks and simply charges a $50 service fee and an hourly based on his time. He rushed to complete my job in a day after we had a break in. Brad is the guy in the pic and the guy that will show up to do your work. He didn't leave a trace of dirt and was able to fix a couple other lock issues by moving plates and cleaning mechanisms- a great guy and company to work with. Through his suggestions and hourly rate I actually saved about $300 in what I might have spent if I replaced all of my door handles versus just the mechanisms. Brad was polite and well mannered but most importantly he was honest and has spent his life as a locksmith. He took over his dad's company and stands behind his work. Since I had trouble finding a referral to a good locksmith in the area I wanted to make sure I left a review of my experience to help others. I would recommend this company to my family, friends and coworkers. I was happy to support a local company with minimal overhead costs knowing he uses his earnings to support his family. My wife was home with him all day while he did the work and she was comfortable having him in the house. When you have a guy installing locks to protect your stuff you want to trust him and feel secure afterwards - Brad accomplished just that.

I had purchased a jeep many years ago from another Jeep dealer in town and had a miserable experience, so we went to Rubitrux. They are PHENOMENAL! All the guys are knowledgeable and helpful, but I especially love Clinton. He sold us a Gladiator Mohave that had 4000 miles on it for a very reasonable price. Great vehicle with 35" soft rock climbing tires. I bought a second set and had them studded for winter. He found me a used set of wheels for $400! We have a very large dog that goes everywhere with me, and the rear seat wasn't the safest for him. Clinton had 2/3 of the back seat removed and replaced with a locking goose gear. It eliminates the "leg room" space in back which is dangerous for the dog in an accident. Now I have a place in the car to really secure a firearm if I need to, and it's flat - perfect for a dog bed. The original owner tinted the windows really dark. I didn't notice it until the first time I tried to make a turn in the dark - couldn't see anything out the side windows. I took it back and the first guy who looked at it thought it would have to go back to the tinting shop. But one of their mechanics gave it a try and had the tinting off in 20 minutes. I've had the truck for about 2 years and other than modifications, oil changes and inspections, I haven't had to do anything to it. When I've taken it in for routine service, they've always given me a loaner. Even when they are crazy busy, Clinton works me in around my schedule. I spend most of the time alone in the mountains, and I'm 100% confident they will take care of my truck without taking advantage of my lack of car knowledge. They know Jeeps. Great guys, great company!
