While working with Edith I noticed that she likes to keep things clean and organized. I did everything Edith told me to do as I was still training and learning. While training she always just expected me to know what i was doing after telling her i had no knowledge about flowers. She would be running both stores back to back leaving me there by myself to run Garden Of Edith. The only workers there were Edith and i. Edith told me that she was going to put me on payroll and never asked for any information or documents. My first week of pay i worked she told me she was going to check the cameras to see when i came in and out of the store to pay me. On my pay day she didnt know anything about the hours she kept claiming "i cant afford this" So u will be working less hours. Fine. She was very hard to work with because communication doesn't exist to her. Edith also owns another store called Jus tacos where I have seen her be mean and yell at certain employees whom don't stand up for themselves. Edith did mention to me one time that her worker in Jus Tacos lacks common sense and that he doesn't listen. KEEP IN MIND THIS MAN HAS WORKED UNDER JUS TACOS SINCE THE SHOP OPENED. Just because you're a boss of the area doesn't give you an excuse to speak to anyone however you want. Theres always produce out in the open as-well Ive seen it coming in the restaurant when it's not open yet.My reason for quitting was because on Monday March 31, 2025 i did not work. Edith worked that day in Garden of Edith. I came in Tuesday April 1st to a mess. Stems on the floor. Dawn dish soap spilled in the sink. Vases in the sink. Flowers that were supposed to be in the cooler were not put away. I sent her a video as I didn't know why it was so messy. Edith called me asking what was it i sent her and i told her theres a mess here from yesterday. Edith said "yes i was busy yesterday so clean it". Edith hung up and i texted her "I know you're busy but i dont leave a mess for you to clean either so i expect the same " Edith called me over the phone saying "Excuse me? Excuse me Im the manager and im paying you to clean it." Which even if the was the case I WAS NOT PRESENT MONDAY! Had she texted letting me know i was entering into a mess i would have been okay. Even a note when i entered work.I couldn't speak or say anything because she was just yelling over the phone saying thats why shes paying me and she kept repeating im the boss she expressed that I was having an attitude with her and she said she doesnt think this is going to work which i agreed with her and left the store in a polite manner. I was raised correctly I would never get out of character as thats not the person I am. Its a shame Edith was very nasty not seeing her own issues. I never expected to be attacked. i wouldn't recommend ANYONE working with her no one should ever get yelled at for simply communicating.It's just very unprofessional overall it's really a shame people like Edith become managers not only to one area but 2. I wouldn't recommend working under Edith. As a manager when you run a store the same rules should also go to the manager it's no excuse and its COMMON SENSE. Edith you are the representation of your stores you must upkeep your stores just like your workers do! As for the text messages im posting it was of me asking for my money if im not on payroll she can easily say i did not work those hours and not have given me my pay. I did not demand my money as on Tuesday my shift would have ended at 4 pm so obviously i get paid the end of the day. The proof is there. I have never lied or been disrespectful to her or given her attitude. I expected to receive exactly what was advertised in both quality, color, and arrangement. Instead, what my mother received looked completely different. The roses delivered were peach-colored, not pink, and the arrangement did not look like the picture shown on the website at all. Peach is not pink, and this was not a slight shade variation, it was an entirely different color. The flowers did not resemble the advertised product I ordered. I accidentally selected the following week for delivery instead of Mother's Day weekend, but I caught the mistake the very same day and immediately called the store. I explained the error and clearly stated that if they could not accommodate a Mother's Day delivery, they could simply cancel the order. I was told it was absolutely no problem and that they could accommodate it, so there was no issue with timing. The real issue came when I called to ask why peach roses were sent instead of the pink roses I specifically ordered. The man who answered said he was the owner, and instead of professionally addressing the concern, his first comment was a snarky remark asking if I was the one who "ordered last minute." This was unnecessary and inaccurate since I had corrected the delivery date the same day I placed the order and was assured it would not be a problem. He then told me he chose the "pink shade" he thought was best to send. Peach roses are not pink roses, and I did not ask for him to make that decision for me. Rather than acknowledging the mistake, apologizing, or offering a proper resolution, he became rude and dismissive. He asked if the problem was that my mother didn't like them or if I didn't like them, completely missing the point. He then states if she doesn't like it we can go and pick the flowers up and this is after they had already been delivered, which is both impractical and disrespectful. I also explained that I had previously worked with someone else at the store who kindly sent me photos of the pink rose options they had in stock so I could confirm the exact shade before delivery. Instead of appreciating that effort, he responded by saying she "went above and beyond" and that they are not supposed to do that. Sending two quick photos when a customer is ordering from out of state is not extraordinary customer service, it is basic professionalism. If a florist cannot provide the exact color or arrangement being advertised, the professional thing to do is call the customer and allow them to decide how they would like to proceed. You do not make substitutions income without approval especially when I spoke to someone at their store regarding the pink shade and then argue when the customer questions it. What is the point of showing customers pictures of specific arrangements on your website if you are just going to send whatever you want? If you cannot provide what is being advertised, you should communicate that first instead of deciding for the customer. This entire experience was disappointing, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I paid for pink roses and received peach-colored roses that looked nothing like what I ordered. The owner's rude attitude and refusal to acknowledge the mistake made the situation even worse. I would not recommend this florist based on both the product quality and the unacceptable customer service.

Prior to the wedding, we had a sample meeting to preview the centerpieces, make any necessary changes, and confirm details for the day of. When I saw the samples based on our discussions, I was floored! The centerpieces were stunning and breathtaking! Our vision was executed better than we ever imagined. The flowers we chose were a combination of white and off-white hydrangeas and roses, hints of light purple roses, mint leaves, and curly willow (for the tall centerpieces). The arrangements looked extremely elegant and paired perfectly with our dark tablecloths! On the wedding day, the florists had a team of people come to set up and they stayed until the reception started. They were so helpful and made everything perfect! They moved any flowers that were to be reused in different rooms. They were able to set up reception within an hour since our ceremony and reception took place in the same room. They made our wedding day perfect!!! Again, I highly recommend using The Flower! They'll work with your budget, listen to all your ideas and visions, and exceed your expectations!
