Ceremony sound was included in our package, but the microphones only worked 1/4 of the time. The DJ did not try to fix the issues when happening. We also spent several hours filling out a portal with details, however it did not seem as though the DJ looked at this. We were asked questions throughout the night about the songs we wanted, the timeline, etc. but all was indicated in the portal and the day of printed timeline. Giving three stars due to the communication by the owner who was extremely helpful once he found out communication was lacking leading up to the date by our designated dj. In addition, the DJ did keep people on the dance floor during the reception by playing our designated playlist, so we did appreciate that.

I found that many rental places charge about the same pretty reasonable fee for basic tables and chairs but where the cost differs is in the delivery and set up. Most of the companies I looked into charged exorbitant fees for in town delivery and compounded that already high cost if I wanted them to set up the items or bring them further than 75-100 feet from the curb (my set up site was 125 feet from the curb - ugh!). I put calls into about 10 different companies for quotes and, whereas Discount Party Supplies was the first to call me back, it took many of the other places up to a week to respond! The guys I worked with were courteous and very good about potential to changes in our order. We were unsure how the weather was going to be and they were willing to work with us up until very close to the last minute on the possibility of adding tents if we needed them in case of rain. They have a lot of equipment allowing them a modicum of flexibility in orders. Pros: Over all, the service was great, the set up and delivery were the most reasonable I was able to find, the tables and chairs were new, clean, and in good condition ( they told me they phase out older equipment regularly), they called one week in advance to confirm the order and delivery time, the staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: I have little if anything bad to say about this business. Were I to be very nit-picky, it is scarcely worth mentioning, but they do request cash on delivery although the website states that they accept a variety of credit cards. They do not offer any email confirmation (this made me a little nervous that they could be a fly by night company that might not show up but they turned out to be great). And they ended up delivering the equipment a day early (after receiving my approval) only because they were so busy with deliveries. The early delivery was totally fine with me but I imagine some people might not be able to accommodate the equipment for longer than expected. Short of those very negligible points, I cannot say enough good about Discount Party Supplies! I'm very happy with their service!

Tripped the breaker multiple times so we then called the company in the middle of our party. We were told we needed a bigger outlet (more than what we were initially told) or a generator ( which we could of made happen if we were told prior to). My husband missed half of our baby shower trying to remedy this. In the end, on the hottest day of the year, we had no ac in those bathrooms for our guests and there was a line up inside my house to use my one bathroom. I contacted the company afterward and their answer was a $300 refund on a $1200 order. Get your hot sauna at LTD restrooms!
