After receiving quotes from several construction firms specializing in kitchen remodels, we chose E&E construction. We visited a multi-million dollar home that was in the final phase of a major remodel by Ezra (kitchen, bath, landscape, and more), and we were very impressed with the quality. I requested to replace all 9 aluminum windows and 1 sliding door in my house. After I requested, the owner Ezra showed up the next day and provided a fairly good quote on the site. On the day of installation, Three workers showed up with masks. They installed 8 windows and 1 sliding door within the day (~ 9 hours). I have to say these guys really nailed it. They were polite and cleaned up before they left. The windows came out exactly how I wanted and beyond. I am still waiting for the last window to come next week. But I believe they will be able to deliver the same excellent result. * Update on the last big window in our living room. Two workers showed up on time with masks. Ezra and his team created my dream bathroom, and in record time! The work we had done was to remove a red tub, and install a new white tub and surrounding Carrara marble. We also needed to install a new lighting fixture above the tub, and do some electrical work. The marble work done around the tub looks particularly beautiful, excellently cut and installed! My brother just finished a kitchen remodel with Ezra, on his new and 1st home he just purchased ! His crew was on time, professional and punctual. We can't express how thrilled we are with the results. Our main goal was to find a reasonably priced contractor that made us feel comfortable and could help us with our vision. Not enough stars to give.... Ezra came recommended by a roofer I found on yelp. Long story short, we had a downpour of crazy winter rain. Upon pulling up some wet carpet we discovered the whole corner of our house - slope-side 3 story house - was soaked through the walls. I called the roofer, he recommended Ezra. Ezra came over and had a crew there the next day to give us a temporary remedy. The guys worked for several hours. Not only is Ezra kind, he is thoughtful and clearly experienced - he figured out the issue wasn't as dramatic as we thought, which was such a huge relief for us. This was 3 weeks ago and Ezra still has not charged us 1 dime for his time nor his crew's time. We are in the process of getting a permit and then will have Ezra back to fix the main issue. Tell me... What contractor in Los Angeles or any where for that matter would do emergency work and not immediately shove a big invoice your hand? I'm pretty sure Ezra is the only one. He also gave us a heads up when he thought another professional was giving us too high a quote on something else. Turns out - he was right! Bottom line... My family has used Ezra and his guys for a few projects now, and we are very happy with the work! They first repaved our driveway. It was done the way we wanted, and our contractor friend who did concrete work for over 20 years said that the lines they were able to get are really nice and hard to do. Next they renovated our primary bathroom. The tile work was beautifully done, and the overall functionality and aesthetic of our originally small and lack-luster 1950s bathroom is now upscale and bright. We are starting a kitchen renovation with them and will keep you posted on the progress (photos to come). Great prices terrible service! was my headline previously when wrote a bad review on this Co. 2 weeks back, and took it down when Ezra cried about his promised to deliver on his old promise, that was, to send someone out to Measure for french doors. He didn't then and still has-not. He runs a game of a fast initial response in which he refers you to his secretary for the details (Elba) she shoots off a non detailed proposal asking for a deposit, when we said can we just give you the deposit when you come to measure? communication goes dead. And if you note the phone number on the web site is a Boiler plate" sales pitch for everything under the sun, and theres no email address on the site, and when i checked the address on google earth its a window tint shop in canoga park... Rami Navarro was the salesman and he worked directly with my contractor Julian Cohen of American Green Dream Design. We went with Simonton Windows which are top in their category and ample fram styles. We chose We installed (7) windows and (2) doors--(1) sliding. Our 1964 home has finally entered the 21st century. Replaced 63+ year=old single pane windows. It is 1500 square feet flat. The install crew took 2 days. first day took 10 hours to remove all the old, crappy windows and install the new windows and slider. Second day the service door took 8 hours just by itself. $13,937 total for (7) windows and(2) doors-- (1) sliding glass door and my condo has finally entered the 21st century. Installment $5,730.00. Noticed the difference with outdoor noise right away and the summer heat won't nearly be as bad inside. Our concern was the security tabs which allows circulation of air. Such a massive improvement over the old windows. The warranty includes any warehouse defects in materials and showmanship. Upon installation there were two major defects. These were picked up by the installers and shown to the Contractor. The story gets sour from here on. All City Windows and doors Reseda did not finish the job by following through of critical defects. Sash defect which is frame was bent. For a quick repair the sash was heating up like welding the plastic material in the warehouse tried to straighten up. This was considered quality checked. This alters the structural strength. This was noticed upon installation. This installation was Sept 13th 2018. This was not resolved via a call from the support staff the warehouse of Richard Weaver. This didn't occur until Friday Oct 12th. All City Windows didn't finish the job. They required 100% pay in full. They sent a Lien certificate for the full amount of $5730. in the scenario where 50% payment was made by the contractor to them. This Certified Mechanics Lien came prior to the 21 day legal day. Our letter arrived Friday Oct 12th, 2018. What is owed via phone conversation is factually half $5730.00 With a surcharge of 10%. The certified Mechanics Lien was sent out hurriedly as of day one. This Mechanics Lien against said property has caused undue stress upon our household. Yesterday Monday Oct 15, 2018 I was transferred to Cinthia the secretary. She did not return my call. I called Mr. Navarro twice and no return call. I believed all lines of communication was open. We have an appointment for the defects on Weds Nov 14th. Mr. Weaver should have all the corresponding parts. I am waiting for warranty service on Nov 14th and than we will ascertain balance is paid. The lack of communications has caused undue stress and mental anguish. Don't use this installation company for your personal or company needs. They are crooks. A service letter should have been sent to residence to expedite warrantee service. That is what needed to happen. Their files showed only the living room defect with the attached windows. This manufactures stock defect should have been corrected by now as it is tues Oct 16th. read more
